I just finished the OVA 2 days ago and I haven't continued to watch the second part of the anime or even play this game... But seeing the truth that Parn have already died and Deed has to move on and go forward kinda breaks my heart... If only Parn were still alive, they would have lived happily ever after forever. But human lifespan is short compared to an elf, so there's nothing that he could do. This is just the truth that we have to accept And even at the end Deed still wanted to spread Parn's honour by making a song in order to remember his deeds during the old time. She truly loved Parn, and even until now 😢

Iya bang memang happy ending, mereka hidup bareng sesudahnya. Tapi kalau dipikir secara logika, parn itu cuma manusia biasa dan deedlit itu elf. Di saat parn udah umur satu abad, deedlit masih tetep awet muda, dan umurnya masih bisa panjang. Ada lanjutan manga terbarunya, judulnya RoLW: The Crown of the Covenant. Disitu settingnya dibuat 100 tahun setelah event di RoLW biasa. Secara ga langsung mengindikasikan kalau parn udah meninggal. Game ini juga dibuat sebagai prelude dari The Crown of the Covenant itu sendiri, yang dimana kejadiannya udah lama banget sejak cerita original RoLW bang, dan disini si parn juga udah gaada. ​@@risolbakar69 seneng nya ternyata ada yg ngikutin series ini selain gw 😅😅😅 fakta nya alternative ini kerasa sangat sedih karena di ambil dri sudut pandang deedlit , tidak canon karena tidak pernah di ceritakan oleh author nya , tetapi alternative ini masuk secara logika jahat bnget devloper nya setelah bertahun2 game nya tamat dengan bagus eh malah di bikin sequel yg berat dan suram kya gini

@@AldiPratama1995 wkwk sebenernya saya ga bisa dibilang fans yang avid banget. Jujur saya juga baru ikutin OVA sama anime part 2 nya. Novel sama manganya belom sempet baca. Trus di tahun 2023 kmrn baru tau kalo ada game terbarunya dirilis si switch (yang ini). Dan begitu tau kalo parn udah lewat, sedih sih emang. Deedlitnya kasian juga ampe galau halusinasi ngelakuin petualangan sendirian karena kangen masa2 dulu dia adventure bareng sama parn (kalo dari yang saya baca2 sih gini, cmiiw) dan yg lebih sedihnya ya deedlit akhirnya bisa legowo "lupain" parn. Ya bagus sih jadi bisa move on, tapi saya juga pengen liat kisah cinta mereka tetep abadi andaikata parn nya masih idup 😂

@@AldiPratama1995 It's not non-canon. In Record of Lodoss War Crown of the Covenant novel Parn is dead. Crown of the Covenant begins after the game I believe. It was always going to end this way since Parn is human and not effectively immortal like Elves.

So that's the last of the ending. Game got stuck when I reached the stone monument/grave in that ending area... I was evading backwards to get around and not sure if that was it, but upon reaching that stone monument, getting the black screen flash, it just locked up. Birds and butterflie sand background audio still going.. but I coudn't move, pause, or continue or anything. Terrible feeling having the game break forcing you to restart there... and finding the boss doesn't save after being beaten.

I REALLY wish the two had children. I think Deed wouldn't have been nearly as sad if there was a part of Parn and her still around. Though I don't know if half elves live as long as humans or longer. But, it still saddens me the two did not have children. Lodoss really is a heavy hearted story.

@@AldiPratama1995 yea you're right in that this is non-canon, I already knew it was just a creative side story. They did remain true to the fact that Deedlit is effectively immortal and ageless, because if I am not mistaken, this game takes place along time into the future, meaning that Parn probably lived out his days growing old, and died a natural death since he is only human, so Deedlit outlived him. While it's not a canonical ending, it's a very likely one, unless the writers make Parn immortal on the same level as Deedlit..

Old age. Even during the second half of the Chronicles of the Heroic Knight anime, Parn was already noticeably older (I think either in his 30's or 40's), whereas Deed was still unchanged, and she wryly commented that humans aged too quickly.

This is a prequel to the 2018 novel that was turned into a 3 vol manga. Parn died of old age in their home. Deedlit on the other hand is immortal. The kid at the end, Lyle, is a descendant of Spark and is on a quest to find her.

Nice gameplay, just finished too. But I think that you did not understood the weakness system. FYI there are 6 dices, 1 to 3 are blue, if the enemy has one of the that's his weakness. 4-5 are red and indicates the have resistance. And 6, also red, indicates that they are immune. The first phase of last boss is quite simple, just spam a clone, and then keep spamming that shadow bat ability, they'll focus on the bat and ignore you. The second one, for some reason, the weakness is Water, so Undine makes the job really easier, keep dodging and attacking with any ranged weapon - I've used Chakram;
