But yeah I’ve had this for a couple weeks now and I’m thoroughly loving it 😊 So, my official review as a turntable/record player connoisseur is “yes”. I’m a noob and just getting into vinyl, I have a question plzzz help! Im bout to get the Sony PS-LX310BT with the STRDH190 2-ch Stereo Receiver. I’m looking at speakers and found these “Sony SSCS5 3-Way 3-Driver Bookshelf Speaker System (Pair)” My question is what wires do I need to connect the speaker pair to the STRDH190 receiver to play records from my PS-LX310BT ?

Hey! Honestly I am also a noob and I'm not sure exactly what your question is but I can tell you that the turntable comes with those red and white audio type cables attached if that makes sense..... I don't know what wires your speaker would need but those 2 seem like the standard

So I looked up your receiver and speakers, my advice is that you should use 16 gauge standard speaker wire. They could be red & black or red & white. You'll need to strip the wires first. If you don't have wire strippers, use scissors. Red with red, black with black. If your cables are red & white, red with red, black with white. I recommend you not to stack your records on top of each other. It causes warping and an ugly thing called ring wear (white circular lines on the record jackets).

Nice video, I really urge you to invest in a good pair of speakers and make sure you have a good stylus. A good quality cartridge and pair of speakers can transform your listening experience, and it’s well worth the investment!

You only need a bluetooth speaker if you're using the bluetooth function!

You can use any type or brand of speaker with this! I use my UE Boom Bluetooth speak and it works great 😊

You should never stack records like cds because it will have a chance to be warped or have ring wear on the cover of the record you gotta have like a box to stack them vertical and wonderful turntable but no anti skate or adjustable counterweight but great turntable anyways keep spinning as always

You need to connect it to speakers!! Either Bluetooth or with the cables included 😊

Hey! I kept the stylus protector, but I don't put it back on after everytime I use the record player. I kept it so that when I travel with the turntable I can use the protector :)

Thanks! I actually noticed that mine does that too!! It comes out super quiet from the vinyl itself. I think this is something all vinyls do but I could be wrong. I think it's pretty cool :)

Hayyyy. I am a collector for over 3 years now. The music you hear is the needle actually vibrating from the groove. Its kind of cool. So you hear the needle even when ur speakers are off!!!

What kind of Bluetooth speaker are you using I recommend getting a speaker that has a built in amp so you can wire it up instead with a rca to 3.5mm cable and the sound quality will improve. I have my Sony turntable hooked up to my Sonos 5 speaker

I had this happen to me too! I don't think you can't turn it off, that's just how vinyl works. However, I am by no means an expert so if you find out otherwise please let me know :)

That’s simply how vinyl works. When the needle touches a spinning vinyl in the groove, sound comes off. When connected to a speaker you’ll hear that same sound louder, so you can actually properly enjoy the music. You can compare it to electric bass guitar. If you play it without connecting it to anything you’ll still hear some sound coming off, but when it is connected is when you hear the musical like it’s supposed to sound. I hope this explains it!
