My favorite part of this lyrical adaptation is how RecD gives Saltbaker a reason for why he tries to create the wondertart which was just left ambiguous in the actual game.

I’m so glad that there’s finally a reason why Saltbaker is evil. He’s just an old man running a bakery all by himself, and the whole town is building up demand for his pastries, not caring about his stress enough to help him, or at least realize that he’s a person too, who has to take a break. Why is your immediate reaction to an airforce being "WAR CRIMES"? It's probably to tie in some way to the OTHER militaristic baddie you end up fighting, Werner Werman, and not the fact they're committing war crimes. So in my mind it must be taking place in the Astral Plain, and to get their, he would need to have consumed the Wondertart, as it's very purpose was to give whoever ate it "complete control over the Astral Plain"

Amazing job, what I love about your version of Saltbaker 1. Listing off all the ingredients in the first phase, all the food puns and Saltbaker's positively *malevolent* voice both in cutscenes and the song proper...the backstory given to him showing just why he went nuts with power, it really works splendidly and serves as a beautiful all-around demonstration of the fight itself. Also, it was wonderful to see Mugman and Ms. Chalice given the spotlight...and the _FREAKING CHARGE SHOT_ at the end was just awesome to see, an immensely satisfying knockout for Chef Saltbaker.
