The session was recorded on a Sennheiser 416 routed through a Symetrix 528E Voice Processor with almost no compression & into my Adobe Audition DAW via a Behringer 16 Track USB mixer...........after that Chuck did all the magic in post production. Thanks for asking the question, hope this helps.

Believe me when I tell you that process brought goosebumps and gasps as I'm witnessing (for the first time) this process!!!! I am new to VO and I'm currently in training with 'Such A Voice' and my demos are going to be professionally recorded within the next 2 weeks. I am deeply moved by the passion of the direction by Chuck and Stacey in this process and Mark Collins is so talented, I have no words. My timbre is a little higher so my niche will be reality tv promos (.10 and .15) so I'm super excited for this process. Also, I do have a speech impediment (stutter) however when I have a script in my hands, I'm in my studio behind the mic and I hit record, something in my head just swtiches on and the magic begins. I am looking forward to meeting you Chuck and Stacey because I believe in never stop learning this amazing craft. (Also Chuck, when I register through your website and you call me......and you hear heavy breathing......it's just me having difficulty with my 'H's" LOL 😀) I know that I'm going to be successful in VO and I'm very excited for this journey. It´s great that you make these series, but I would love to take a look at your signal chair, your mixing and editing process into how to make it sound all great. I know that I don´t personally own any of these expensive microphones and recording devices, but I want to take a look and learn from all of this. I built a soundproof studio booth in my new home, it was a lot of work but in 6 months it was finally ready, it was worth all that hard work. all together cost a total of 3000 euros including wood / MDF plate / cables / group box / sockets / light switches and of course also a soundproof door and thin carpet for the outside. the inside dimensions are depth/width/height: 200x250x220 cm

Agents want to hear real promos on Demos so they can hear what you actually sound like on different networks. So we write it all and produce it in the style of each network. This is industry standard. And yes mark will be able to use audio and video which he did all the editing on by the way. Thank you for the comment 👍

That was amazing! In the final demo, Mark really DOES come across like different people. Stacey's copy is so clean: most VO talent will be spoiled after this! And chuck's direction, as usual, was perfectly crafted for each piece of copy. Mark walked in with the right approach for the different reads; Chuck pinpointed them until they were right on target. One of the most frustrating things in VO is recording for a director who doesn't know what he wants (but "he'll know it when he hears it"), but still demands multiple takes without actionable notes or direction. I'm happy to say that Chuck is definitely NOT that kind of director. His feedback is specific, to the point, and sufficiently detailed to be actionable. Well done. I wish all my directors could be more like Chuck.
