Favorite recording equipment? That's a hard one, but aside from RME interfaces, I would say BAE, API and Neve. HOWEVER I love Elysia too and have their Mpressor and looking to grab their stereo EQ and transient shaper. In my view their are high quality and give you a a lot for your money. If I win the lottery I would get their Alpha EQ 😂

There are no backround vocals or keys in the folder. Is this intentional?

The bassist is killer. All the musicians are, but as a bassist I naturally gravitate toward that. Love the way the song sounds overall.

I don't know if outside of a very few paid courses anyone has ever done anything NEAR even in the same zipcode as comprehensive as this video! You always have to read so much between the lines, but this is kind of start to finish and really shows it all....we need more stuff like this! Not just for music, but everything. The only thing I've seen even close, is one of those POV videos of a specific car repair.

This was really interesting. As one who does nearly everything in the box, the way drums were done here will actually change how I'm going to approach drums in the box. Outstanding!

@jemwand253011 сағат бұрын
This is a good song. If you are going to remix it, I would recomend listening to the Steve Osbourne produced tracks, Coma Aroma a nd Soap Opera by 90's should have beens InAura. Both tracks are a masterclass of indie dance and a guitar and drum group.

So much for the Glyn Johns method.
@ProducelikeaproКүн бұрын
Yes! You could just use the Wurst mic! The. It’s just one mic not three! Or, use the snareo which is just two! Download the tracks, mix the drums yourself, use any combination you like! Maybe the two overheads and the outside kick?

Was the thing moving in the dark a big dinosaur..? Warren’s water-bottle did seem to vibrate Jurassic Park style, on occasion. All good stuff, though... very Spizz Energi style bass in the twangy bits. ‘Tom Overdub’ does sound like it should be the name of a legendary 1970’s punk producer.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but could someone explain to me how a drummer can play hi hat, bass drum, snare and 2 toms at the same time??? I'm just saying...😁 (BTW i'M NOT A DRUMMER...)
@TraneFrancksКүн бұрын
Two hands and two feet, with a brain that is wired for multitasking. Also, as this track demonstrates, there can be cases where instead of a live performance for all the drum components, some will be overdubbed. Other cases, such as in a live concert, there may be a percussionist present to complement the playing by the drummer. An excellent example of the latter can be seen on Pink Floyd's _Delicate Sound of Thunder_ , which has Nick Mason as the primary drummer/percussionist and Gary Wallis complementing with additional percussion parts. The DVD of that concert can be easily found on YT and is well worth the watch in case you're curious about such complementary parts.

Why would one person need to play it all at the same time?
