Enjoyed watching this. As a second generation - I understand the “having a dictionary of my families language, but find it difficult to put it all together”. I’m fascinated about the basket weaving - is there any video available of the process?

Hello, Wouldn't it be best to teach little children, and as your elder speaker said he learned english at school. Learn your native religion from spiritual elders. Only by speaking native tongue among yourselves will U speed up your progress. Document it. Your elders were right not to want to share. They probably knew the secrets. All language has sacred secrets. Who among you knows this. If you want to live long & healthy take up something like tai chi...live longer, stronger, increase your prayer life. Best wishes.
