I want to so bad but I can't. I get sleep paralysis very often. I hate it. I sleep on my side but if I don't fully lay on my side I can still get it. I thought something was wrong with me. Sometimes it happens when I lay on my stomach or front side. It's like I can't sleep unless I'm on my side because of fear that it will happen. I also used to sleep walk when I was a kid. I know. Two different things but I don't understand why my sleep is so disturbed. If my neck is not straight because I fell asleep on a couch with my my head and neck on the arm part, my head will bob up and down and the last time this happened I couldn't breathe. Im almost fearful to fall asleep sometimes. I looked it up to see if anyone has died from this and the results say no but I'm almost sure if you can't breathe you may be closer to death than if you could. Sorry this is long but I needed to let this out.

I had sleep paralysis once but there was no demons. I could see through my eyes and I could see my mom and family looking at me and they were saying that me eyes were wide open but I wasn't moving or blinking. They though I was dead. Actually pretty relaxing. But the only bad part is a really can't breath. I feel like I'm holding my breath the whole time. And everything was really loud even though nobody was being loud. I also have nightmare disorder so idk how that didn't turn into something bad.

its worse for me, me and my dad used to get night terrors/ sleep paralysis in our old house 4 years ago and after we moved its stopped. the night terrors/ sleep paralysis we would get was so bad that i could hear my dad screaming for help in his dream but he was only whispering so i would wake him up, he did the same thing with me. its so terrifying because when you have dreams like this you can barley move and all sound in your dream is so loud it sounds like a horrible buzzing noise or something. and when you try screaming or yelling for help you cant its only a slight whisper that comes out and it hurts at the same time and it is the worst experience ever. plus all that mixed with the things you see in your night terror/ sleep paralysis is horrible i can only describe it as hell or something. i used to have a repeating night terror/ sleep paralysis where my horrible dream would repeat over and over and you think you where awake and get help but the same entity is still after you and always gets you until you are awake.

this experience is interesting, I am 15 years old and yesterday I just had sleep paralysis. When I was having it, I noticed that I could move my hand fingers and my toe fingers, but it felt like there was someone watching me, I saw someone literally standing in front of me and watching me, it was a female that was stood in front of me and laughing at me. I also remember breathing really loud and heavily. I couldn't talk, it was also 1am and everyone was asleep, meaning I was just stuck in my bed for 20 seconds, it didn't last that long but yeah. Most people will only experience this once or twice in this life. I remember my first experience I cried to mom like a little girl even though I was 15. That was 7 years ago, I’ve experienced it quite a few times since. Last night I had it as I was falling asleep. It usually takes me about 5 minutes to fall asleep. Last night my girlfriend told me it had only been a few minutes when i finally woke up from sleep paralysis. Which is crazy. I always sleep on my side in the same exact position every night and i woke up on my back somehow. I fell back asleep and I had it again as I was waking up the next day. It’s pretty scary. Most people think it’s just not being able to move, I’ve never seen anything around me during sleep paralysis, I’m pretty sure my eyes are closed unless it’s just an illusion. The only scary part is what you see and how your body and mind can’t control anything in a “dream” that is way more vivid than a normal dream. Basically picture someone who’s heart stops beating, dies, visits hell, then comes back to life. That’s actually how I’d relate it to everyone.

Idk I prayed really hard that it would stop and I thank God I haven't had sleep paralysis in a few years 🙏

I’ve also only had two occasions of seeing something when I was in this state and I’ve had countless experiences with this. One I was watching a snake eat my alive and the other I floated off my bed in the middle of the room and heard a bunch of screaming in my ear. But the other scary feeling I get is, sometimes after I snap out of it, literally like a second after I can feel my body being sucked back into the paralyzed state and I have a extremely hard time moving and fighting it off because of a overwhelming tired feeling and I feel I have little strength in my body and I have actually got stuck back into it before after waking up which is the worst feeling ever. You feel like it’ll never end once your In that state and your consumed with fear.

@fredzep013 ай бұрын
I have had this happen a hell of a lot of times through the decades, and It usually involves me scanning the room in my dream state, so I can prove to myself it's only a dream. I used to feel a presence behind me until I started noting the situation of the room, so when I came out of the paralysis, I could see things wasn't the same as in the dream, that's how I know it's a dream situation, and if ever I get it again I can tell myself to relax, then I fall seem to blink out for a second, then I wake up fine.

sometimes in my sleep, i dream about me sleeping, then falling off the bed, suddenly my brain gets so scared i wake up and my heart beat is like 200. it happens literally everyday
@reyrey78682 жыл бұрын
So today I experienced something strange because I was completely aware of what was happening while it was happening… so I was awake but not necessarily… I heard ringing in my ear .. it sounded like a flash bang from cod .. that loud and intense … but my body got a rush of euphoria and I started to feel tingly all over … I felt something weird going on inside my head .. the best way I can describe it were shocks … and then something even weirder happened.. my body started to have mini convulsions and I could feel the shocks become greater the more I allowed this shadow“being” to hug me in my sleep … very weird and hard for myself to understand so yeah I know it sounds odd .. I have sleep paralysis very very often unlike the normal person and sometimes when I am already awake from it I will just lay there and still see things .. I looked it up and it’s basically just described as hallucinations when you first wake up … but in my scenarios I am able to physically feel things 10x greater … again very odd I know .. I’ve been wanting so badly to have tests ran on me while I’m asleep to maybe figure out if it’s something else possibly in my brain ? I have no idea but as strange as it sounds I’ve grown to love this tingly euphoric feeling I get and sometimes it’s very hard to fight it and wake myself up . My fear is that maybe I won’t wake up from it one day because I will have become sucked too far into this trance like state .. if anybody has any similar experiences please share .. I feel like a total freak . Also side note sometimes if I want it to stay and I tell it to stay it starts to go away but other times when I’m in actual fear it will over power me it tries it’s hardest to stay.. it’s just weird to me how I feel afraid of it but that euphoric feeling is too great and it’s a bit of a battle with myself when I’m trying to see how far I can go deeper with that trance like state yet the fear holds me back and usually wins . Towards the end when I’m about to snap out of it I usually sense it’s something bad and that I feel almost life threatened by it so I finally shake it off and wake up ..
@amante2596 Жыл бұрын
Like an intense tingling feeling in your ears as something like a sword is plunging through your ears. At first the S.P's felt so real you'd feel your jaws locking and physical touch on different parts of your body. Some times consecutive paralysis at a time and with deep sleep in your eyes. Hallucinations and sometimes feel like your lifeforce is being sucked out of your body. I Get You.

But your body will be in a panick you wont want to move. The thing in front of you will disappear and everything will be normal. The best thing to do is if it happens go back to sleep. happened to me last night. what might’ve led to it was that i took a nap after i got home from school and i woke up at 7pm and went to sleep at 3am. last time i had a sleep paralysis i was laying on my back and i could see a figure walking towards me but it ended pretty quickly still freaked me out though, but this one was probably the worst one i’ve ever had because i was crying so much after it omfg. i was laying on my side facing the wall btw so ig it doesn’t really matter what sleeping position you’re in unfortunately :/ i woke up and assumed that i was just having those nights where i wake up randomly in the middle of the night until i tried to reach out for my phone to check what time it was only to not move at all. then i realized that i was having a sleep paralysis i wasn’t able to see that much because i was facing the wall but i felt a sort of presence behind me so i closed my eyes which took a bit cuz it was hard to even do that and all of a sudden i’m having a dream idek?? i knew that it was a dream because the sun was out when it was really dark before. i was able to move but it was like i was forced to do some of the things i was doing. i felt this terrible feeling inside me like something was trying to take control over my body and i went straight to my parent’s bedroom and i was crying to my mom about it but she seemed so calm about it like it was normal that i was feeling that way. then everything would sound muffled but it will go away and come back. i panicked even more and tried to tell my mom that i wasn’t feeling okay and she was still so calm about it like she just continued doing whatever she was doing and ignored what was happening with me and then for some reason when i had something to tell her like i would want to say something about why she’s acting like that, i would continuously say, “i love you so much” but it wasn’t what i wanted to say (i do love her tho LMAO) i would rush out of her room to look at the mirror and seeing bruises all over my face and on my left pupil i can see a glint of red in it. i would see the reflection of myself on the tv and see something trying to get out of my body. all of a sudden i woke up in the same position that i was in when i was beginning to have my sleep paralysis at 4:17am. it was so terrifying because i actually started to believe that this was actually happening. i tried so hard to wake up and i couldn’t.

My story: last night I think I fell asleep and then I wake up but I can’t move anything and when I look at my arms they’re crossed over my chest and I feel pressure that’s getting heavier and heavier and I look at my arms and there’s something holding me down it was the same thing that he described but it wasn’t black it was transparent and I started panicking because for some reason I thought I was getting possessed so when I woke up I panicked and started watching videos like this to learn more about it :)

First problem sleeping on your back, second problem sleeping during the day. Looks authentic to me, it's what goes on inside our minds that causes the fear. Inability to wake up, scream, move...its terrifying.
