This is a great unit for practicing and mixing with backing tracks. I always practice using this with headphones. Even if I’m not using backing tracks. It’s great for improving your tone. The only drawback I’ve found with the PV6 is the analog to digital sample rate is only 48khz. For higher quality recording I take the analog signal from the headphone jack of the PV6 into my Behringer U-Phoria umc202hd unit which has a 192khz sample rate and then take that signal into my iPad.

Felix. I don’t use any DAW programs. I go to the camera app on the iPad and press record to make my videos. Most of the time I take the recording into iMovie on my iMac to mix and add titles. You can use this same setup to go into GarageBand on the iPad but then you don’t get the video of you performing.
