I wonder how this has so few views. The song and the lyrics are brilliant. This version has some weird atmosphere that i'm drawn to, so much better than the record. I would love to see him live!

James is a wordsmith that generations haven’t seen or heard. Someone who can string word together so eloquently is once in a lifetime artist. Stop and take pause to this man in how he can bend music and blend words so gracefully. This music will change your life and a live experience of his music is a kin to be to be born again.

The people who you can't imagine wanting to anything but create and sing and write eventually rise to the top. He plays every song like his life depends on it. It took everyone years to come around on Nathaniel Rateliff, Brandi Carlile, Charley Crockett, hell, Margo Price had to sell her car and wedding ring to make her first album and still couldn't get signed... but eventually....

I wonder what pickup system he is using on the resonator. Those don't come with a pickup but that tone is great.

K & K pickup in this one

So what pickup does he have in that thing. I just ordered the same resonator but I’m under the impression it has no electronics but I want to put some in to play through an amp.
@RecordingKingOfficial Жыл бұрын
That's correct, it ships with no electronics. We've had good luck with pickups from K&K and Fishman
