I've been doing these recovery days too after a particularly stressful/extroverted/anxious day and it has been really helpful!

I am the same way about having days planned. Even if I have the smallest thing planned like going out of the house for something I feel like the whole day is planned and so I need to have a do nothing day and stay in my pajamas. I’m not sure why, I was like that even while in college where I had to go to school every day, but like if I had someone I had to do after school it was a big ordeal and I needed to have the day before to do nothing after school. I never understand how people can just go go go and not just sit at home doing nothing!

Watching you work on yourself and clear your space and mind is really soothing and encouraging for me x

Thanks for talking about gratitude. I try and do that every day but the specific scenario you were explaining is something I feel ALL the time, but I’ve never been grateful for it, just hella stressed and “woe is me”, but it’s so much healthier and better to think about it as being out of love and desire for you in their lives. You the best!

I loved this video. Today is my recovery day. I’ve been in my pajamas, still doing homework, but lounging in bed with some tea and my cat. I still feel productive because a lot of what I need to do today is on my computer, but I can do that in pajamas from bed which is great and tonight I’m making myself my favorite soup and watch a scary movie. ❤️

I also have these days once a week actually. Try to at least. Sometimes more than one if I have had a busy day or two. I am an introvert and need my alone-nothing -to-do kind of days every now and then to stay sane 🙈 Enjoyed the vlog Sarah 👍🏻

Any advise on how I can have a recovery day while living with parents? They give me space and are pretty chill but sometimes when they go here and there doing their stuff, making noise or being productive it makes me wanna move out lol

SD cards getting corrupted when switching cameras is a VERY real thing lol I lost tons of footage that way when I was in film school. If you're swapping cameras with an SD card, always go into your settings and reset your SD card!

Have you mentioned where you get your rings already? I’ve bought several things from your amazon video, the straws, pens and a few books.

Since I get anxiety I'll have a rest day or treat day after accomplish whatever it was I had to do. Like when I started braces appointment I'd go to get icecream after. Now I don't because I want to save money and it doesn't cause me anxiety anymore :) but I still do the whole rest thing like you

Do you write or journal aside from writing what you’re grateful for? And if so are you worried about your bf or anyone else reading any of it? I wouldn’t feel comfortable journaling because I don’t trust that my bf wouldn’t read which would be really awkward.
@sarahhawkinsonvlogs71506 жыл бұрын
yes I do and yes I’m scared of that! I use word to write in my journal and I trust my boyfriend enough to not look at it and I don’t even think he’d remember that it’s there on my laptop lol but also I still find myself holding back as I journal in fear of that sooooo

sarahhawkinsonvlogs ugh remember those girltech password journals from the 90’s? They were locked and could only be opened with the right password but it also had voice recognition.

Jackie sainze I’m totally not trying to brush aside your anxiety or mental health issues but it does take a lot of time to build gratitude and become stronger. You have to deal and work through all of the emotions. I’m fact when you start to work on your internal happiness sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. Hang in there!!!
