“It takes enormous concentration, perseverance and determination and you can have none of those if you’re tired..” brilliant! This is so true and obvious when faced with it

From my own experience and that of others, I’ve observed that there has to be a clear balance betw training & recovery. It’s a different ratio for every individual. An absolute beginner may need even two days of recovery in between runs. On a scale of 1-10, his fitness would be 1-3. If he needs a day’s rest after a long run, fitness level would then take be say 3-5, for a recovery walk 5-7 & recovery short run 7-9. Plz correct me if I’m wrong but recovery time depends on the level of fitness of the person. That’s why one needs a proper coach to find out what suits one best. A good coach would try to scale up the fitness level while gradually scaling down the recovery time. Totally agree with Coach Parry!! 👍

This is really interesting - the only time I remember being very tired but unable to sleep was after my first day trying to snowboard. I've fallen and picked myself up so many times that day - I guess the cortisol was what caused it !

Hi Jenny, the best way to contact us is through our support desk on support at coach parry dot com. Is that the email address you used? We have an automated system that creates a ticket number when you email, could you let me know what ticket number you received was and I can look into it for you. Alternatively you can let me know what email address you used and I can search for that.

Rest = no run is the of the most fear thing for runners😂 we don’t lose any performance, even no running 5day then will start losing small percentage of fitness 👍
