Nice rig! Maybe a soft sided tool bag hanging on the outside, low on the ROPS to stow shackles, tow strap/rope.

What's the hole capped with?
@juniorthompson20232 жыл бұрын
@@michaelvoorhees5978 i honestly don’t have it capped. You can get a cap at lowes that’s meant for pressure test ur plumbing on ur house. They have them at Lowe’s or wherever in different sizes that have a t handle in the middle to tighten it down but I haven’t had any issues with mine trying to slide out so i will probably just keep my $. Mines a 20 ft recovery strap from Walmart and by the time u fold it up to fit in the tube it’s pretty snug. I use it all the time when im cutting trees

Off topic, but any ideas for a block heater? Looked at a magnet, but oil pan is not steel.

Haven't had mine that long so no towing yet. I did have to help plow my neighbors road and used the stock bucket. Will you do a video using your setup on snow removal? Also do you use tire chains? My R4's were struggling on the ice.

Tire chains are Absolutely a MUST . Ice is,and will be a 95% traction limiter. Snow plowing,dozing,pushing or blowing without TIRE CHAINS is a loosening battle. My turf tired 2 wheel drive tractor with TIRE CHAINS will OUT plow & pull my two bigger 4 wheel tractors with 95% R1s & R4s with out chains. I have "experimented", just rigged the "wrong" tire chains on just the front (afford mentioned) 4×4 tractors and the became "NEW Machines". At least 600.oo$ for rears & 200.oo$ is not cheep, but with out them on anything less than a perfectly level snow and or ice is nothing less than a fewtell effort. Go with CHAIN DRIVE ,unless you just want to "Spin your wheels" or burn fuel and "play in the snow".Thanks for the great Video Sir and happy safe tractoring .

I don't run chains, and have had pretty good luck without them, BUT, it likely has to do with the amount of weight I'm running. The snow pusher on the front weighs ~650lbs, and the blower is no lightweight either. I LOVE having the blower on the rear. YES, you have to look over your shoulder or sit sideways, but with no blower in float over your front wheels, creating lift from the drag as the shoes or blade catch the surface, you retain all your steering control. Previously ran a front-mount on a BX25D, and the steering was worthless while blowing. I do run into the same issue if I try and steer with the snow pusher down and I'm going forward, but that's not what I use it for. I use it for pulling snow back away from buildings/doors, pushing piles up/out of the way, or clearing spots where I don't want to risk hitting something with the blower.

I like your snow pusher! I am not sure if I want to get one myself or a bigger front bucket. Do you ever have issues with the tractor getting stopped from to much snow with just your tires and no chains?? Also like your blower, was looking into the ones that have the auger facing the rear wheels so it would be easier on the neck. Have you ever wished you went with that type?? Sorry these questions aren't really related to your video. How has the tractor been since you did the fuel tune ? Any issues so far? I may do that in the future

Would love to see that tractor running the snow blower if you can grab some footage.

I saw a u tuber turn the giant tube on the loader (by your foot) into storage. I think a certain size of pvc may fit in there.. Probably too small for that rope but it's good for storing something. Also, check out the floor mats for these things that came out on the latest models. Fits the l series. (messicks video)
