Made a slight alteration to these for my Arteta career mode. Notice that going forward Arsenal play Partey as a single pivot so gone with 4-3-3 holding and pushed Ødegaard up to CAM and drift wide since he's been doing that a lot recently, and then second season when they sign a more mobile replacement for Xhaka I'll set the left 8 to get forward as I think that's what Arteta will want to do. Love your tactics videos man! Really make the game more fun!

The next season in my CM I switch to a 4-3-3 just like your Man City tactics but with a different twist. Saka still stayed at “stay wide” and my De Bruyne = Odegaard, rather than drifting wide, he stayed on default. Amazing work, thank you again! Wishing you great success this year and beyond!

Hi, I came across your channel yesterday and just wanted to thank you for these type of videos. Since the patch a couple of months back I have struggled badly to score goals. I have always struggled with defending and all in all have tried tons of different tactics and still not found anything to suit me. As a huge Arsenal fan for over thirty years I thought it would be fun to try these Arteta tactics and see what it’s like because most days I honestly couldn’t play any worse and lucky if I score one goal per game. Generally I often concede three or four within the first couple of minutes and the game is over before I get chance to do anything at all. Well these tactics were absolutely outstanding- i had previously won two games in a whole week where Iv played for at least one to two hours per day. I won all three games I played and scored ten goals. Scored five in one game and I can’t remember the last time a bagged that many. This is all in Ultimate Team. Found it strange to start with and players seemed to move in places I wasn’t used to but once I got used to it and stopped trying to rush forward to fast like I usually do it became fantastic. My players were moving all over the place for passes and making brilliant runs. My Fut Fantasy Martinelli came to life and so did my right winger. Usually struggle to get these guys involved. Ronaldo up front suddenly became the player I thought he was supposed to be and was banging them in and finding fantastic attacking spaces. The whole team seemed to defend way better than ever before too and despite the high defensive line I barely conceded any goals at all, in fact I think it was one out of all three games. Huge kudos mate, these ideas are amazing. Looking forward to trying the Wenger one at some point and maybe some of the others

Just a quick question. How do you get the realistic tactics. I’m a Liverpool fan and I watch all the games and I know there tactics. But how do you know all of the teams’ tactics. Do you rewatch all of there games? I was just wondering how you find out how they play

Wow, you're smashing these vids out rapid fire and they're all quality! Weird request but I made a video a few weeks back on a different account of my interpretation of Arteta's Arsenal tactics, so can I ask for clarification in a few key areas where we differ? If so: - I had Arsenal on Press on Heavy Touch, 10 width, and 65 depth, as I didn't think it was a high counter press by design but rather one that initiated if the ball was there to be one, but otherwise maintained a compact mid block that was hard to break down 0 while his instructions were the same, I played Saka as a RM, not a RW, as I noticed him dropping deep to pick up the ball from the defence sometimes since obviously no one else provided a deep passing option on the right wing - I played Partey on balanced attack as he would often provide a passing option higher up the field for the front 4/5 (if you include Tierney), while Xhaka usually sat a bit deeper (think Goretzka and Kimmich i guess?) - I played Lacazetta on false 9 as I felt he dropped into the midfield significantly more often than he made runs in behind, prefering to lay it off to runners in ESM/Martinelli/Saka This isn't me suggesting you're wrong as I honestly trust your judgement over mine lmao, but yeah, any clarification would be appreciated mate!

Definitely agree with your defensive tactics. I would even play them on 55 depth. But when they play teams low on the table use tactics more like Bromas. I think because they’ve had a nice run of fixtures that these tactics are based on how they play against those sides.

Same instructions! Think he does a good job of getting in behind the defence. He won’t do it every time though, even with the instructions, which means you can get him on the ball driving at them as well.

I don’t think that role would get the best out of either of them tbh.

I think you’ve made them a bit more adventurous and progressive than they really are. They are about 13th in the table for possession and don’t press a whole lot unless they face a poorer side. When playing a team on a similar level they tend to stay compact and deep.

A few doubts on this one, 1) Shouldn't Ben White be on aggressive interceptions or step up cause he often comes out of his position to retrieve the ball ? 2) How does the instructions change for Aubameyang and Xhaka ? 3) How would Lacazette work as a false 9 for this system ?

You could change Ben White to aggressive interceptions tbf. I can’t say I noticed it happened enough to justify changing it, but definitely don’t change it to step up. With regards to the False 9, I wouldn’t do it because it would comprise the system and not make a lot of sense when you have Odegaard in the hole. The instructions for Xhaka and Aubameyang are the same.

Can’t say I agree with that tbh. There are only minute differences between those two formations anyway, but Odegaard is still playing as a 10 in those advanced areas, so I don’t think the system has changed.
