I honestly think it is so cool that you are keeping the baby names private. I respect that so much! I wish we had never shared the name we were thinking of because it came with so many peoples opinions. And now we aren't sure of a name anymore. But also, you deserve to have a private life outside of KZbin! ❤ Beautiful art as always! Hope your pregnancy is going well.

I honestly just want to take the time to say thank you for not changing you channel into all things baby. I respect you want to keep your family’s privacy as well but so many of my favourite KZbinrs once they become parents their channel just becomes about being parents and although I’m happy for them that’s not the context I love. Thank you for keeping your channel about the art and not converting it to baby crafts and nursery design ❤️ I appreciate it even if that’s not the reason its staying the same.

Oooh!! I got it wrong on the community channel when asked about this week's video. I thought it was going to be watercolors, but you surprised me! Honestly, I like both versions of your artwork but I can totally see how much you've improved with textures. Also, your highlights and shadows are a lot more polished as well. Thank you so much for sharing and keep creating, Mira!

I feel the same way about drawing people. I know I could but it's very daunting to me and anatomy is not the easiest to completely understand. I always feel like cartoons and nature art are usually more forgiving because you can mess up and it's less noticeable. I love your redraw. The brightness brings something extra special to it, I think.

Hi Mira! I love how your painting turned out! I also love what you said about enjoying the process of creating rather than creating something for the end result which can be daunting. One of my art goals this year is to paint more and I think that keeping this in mind will help me to do that so thank you! Take care 😊

I really enjoyed this video. I love it when artists recreate past works. Also, I love it when you do more realistic work. The contrast between your fun-loving personality and a serious setting is really enjoyable to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm there for all of the videos, but I'm mesmerized by the big ocean water oil painting and this recreation from today. I would love to see more videos like this.

Very striking art. Beautiful and rich. Plus the subtle patterned background really sets it off nicely. Sometimes I get so focused on the end result that I get nervous during my process, worrying that it's not coming out good enough. I really need to work on shifting that mindset and enjoy the process more. Good for you in choosing what to keep private. Glad this is going to continue to strictly be an ART channel. That's what I'm here for.

I heard you the first time about keeping baby things private, as you should. I admit I have wondered about how you're decorating the nursery, but with your needle felting, cute art creations and knitting or crochet. I'm sure it will be adorable so i Don't ask. You'll be busy enough once they're here you may not even be able to sketch them when they're sleeping. Just focus on your health and theirs. I wish only good things for you.

Hi Mira! I heard you say about not being able to use oil paints at the moment (I assume this is because of the fumes and keeping the bubbas safe but as someone who has never been pregnant I could be completely wrong 😂) - I recently found out about water soluable oil paints and wonder if they would be something you can use? I have always wondered what using oil paints is like but honestly I know I am far too lazy to be responsible enough to clean it all after use. I have had to throw out a shameful number of paintbrushes because I forgot/couldn't be bothered to clean them when I am done (this is also one reason that I sway towards using watercolour or gouache more often 🤣). It would be really cool to see if the water mixable ones are able to be reactivated after they have dried. It also means that you don't have to use hazardous solvents as the oils in the paints are modified to use with water, leaving everything else comparative to regular oil paints (eg consistency, drying time, colour depth, light fastness etc). If you do decide to try them out (I'll chuck a link below to a small set by Windsor & Newton) it would be really good if you could do a video testing them out and reviewing them, then after the babies are born maybe adding a part 2 where you literally do side-by-side comparisons with regular oil paint? I absolutely love both of these pictures, I think the older one has a kind of Elfin feel, like I can imagine her with pointy ears and living as one with a huge, dense forest. This new one though definitely shows your huge technical improvement, especially with the skin - when your first layer was really dark I was thinking "Mira's lost her marbles" 😂 but then you brought out the light with pencils and I was absolutely awestruck, it looks incredible! 💜 Lastly, I just wanted to say that I am not in the slightest bit jealous of your Christmas present to yourself and have never once dreamed of owning a full set of Prismas..... 😶🤥🤥🤥😔🥺... Ok, that may not be 100% accurate. 🤣🤣 Sending love and best wishes to you, your husband and your two little nuggets from the UK! Stay safe and healthy! 💜💖💋💋
