Oh yes, a video based on the icon herself! (I may not have instagram, but oh boy did I love her videos) My favourite is definitely the last one, but that's probably just because I'm very biased towards any dress that screams Alice in Wonderland. My favourite way to style the light purple one I have in a similar style is giving it black boots and an old studded black leather belt. Then another layer with a dark purple mesh turtleneck with a scalloped edge underneath and a hair bow for some princess vibes, topped with a necklace or two~ Juxtaposing is great :D Also the bustier outfit looks fabulous! I especially enjoyed the segment of skirt layering, very entertaining and it's always so good to see the process~

So as I sat here watching I thought to myself "I wish I had anything to recreate these outfits too." And I stopped myself right there, like, girl if this video prooves anything, than that you can use literally any clothing item to try and recreate outfits. So I got up, went to my closet and tried throwing random stuff together that somehow resembled the vibe of ashley's / your pieces. And what can I say, I just had to get my phone & take pictures of every outfit I put together to safe for later!! I don't know how, but it worked 😂😂😂 Really love the video! I caught the end of Ashley's time on YT but I haven't really followed her since because her style never quite resonated with me- not that she didn't dress well, but it always seemed aspirational/trend focused in a way that felt like she was waiting to level up. There's anything inherently wrong with that, I'm just more of a personal style than a fashion person, and don't usually find anyone cute wearing a lot of designer helpful on that front. Regardless, this was still really enjoyable! I really love seeing your interpretations of things because the end result always feels properly your own. I think the one with the dress and the harness the yellow dress would have worked over the skirt, since you'd have gotten the volume and a lil peeking out.
