A tip for making larger objects with polymer clay: you can use crumpled up tinfoil as a core and then build the clay around it. It reduces the weight of the object as well as reducing the cost and amount of clay you use.

or even use your hack with fabric softener on the fabric. I found some old faux leather in my garage and it was somewhat beaten up but I painted it with some nice beige fabric soft. paint and used it as a base for a tray. It turned out excellent.

They all look great! For the coasters tho, what I would have done would be taking a heater to melt the contact paper a bit, and then folding the excess underneath, much cleaner and durable look

To have crisp lines when taping off sections: tape, then do a coat of the base colour, and *then* do your contrast colour. Pretty sure I came across this tip in a sorry girl's episode. Love all the diys! Really appreciate that they don't require any special equipment :]

I liked the terracotta pots and the leather case. I have used the stone spray paints to recreate concrete pots and I can say that undercoating first with different paints makes such an unique difference. I had 5 pots and used 2 different types of stone spray and 2 different types of undercoating spray and I was alternating the combinations and ended up with 5 slightly different pots which I loved.

Hi Drew, I really love that faux leather vase, it gives off such a cool vibe, I am for sure going to make me one, I might even make a shorter one and put one of my plants in it, that would be so dang cute. I also really love those coasters, and putting resin over them gave them a really high end look, I just love using resin it is a lot of fun and really makes things look more expensive. thank you for these ideas. I saw someone in another video use strips of sticky shelf paper for the masking tape and it seemed this worked better than the actual masking tape, with cleaner lines. It is a good hack when you don't have the right tape.
