You're one of my absolute favorite KZbinrs, you can really see how much effort you put into all of the outfits, editing, and design for each video and this one is such a great example of that! (Genuinely can't believe you don't have a much larger following here). Your analysis is on point, and definitely something that rings true with my own experience with fashion. I was a skirt girly as a kid and I'm just now coming back around to them, but this video convinced me to pull mine out and make the effort to style them and it's so much fun! (also your cat is adorable

omg, it's so fun to see your take on this!! These recreations are so good, and it seems like they really resonate with you :') PS: to answer your brooch question, it is pronounced the "b." way! As a native english speaker, I also find the line between brooches and pins confusing. I think brooches usually look more like jewelry, they're often made of metal and have gems (fake or real) in them, while pins are usually more casual and cheaper, made of plastic or enamel.

Ah, thank you for answering my question, I've been so curious about it! I'm still stuck wondering how some other words like "hair barret", cuz I've heard some people say it like "beret" and others like "bar-ret" etc. And thank you, I really enjoyed making this video, I think we both had a couple "inner child is happy" moments with this experiment 😊💕

@@jemi_ I can answer that one too haha, it's pronounced "bar-ette" (so you do pronounce the "T")! & yes we totally did🥹🥹

Thank you so much! 💕 Do you also still find your childhood preferences affecting how you style yourself in the present moment?
@BEHNR3 күн бұрын
this is such a cute concept 💕

Thanks so much! 💕 It's also definitely an interesting experiment, if you want to try it yourself, definitely shows what parts of our childhood we've carried with us to the present day.

Not gonna lie, the first 2 outfits were my favorites too (as you can probably tell haha)!🥰 I wish I always had an excuse to dress like a fairy or a princess, I love my casual fall fits, but sometimes I just want these vibes even if I have nowhere special to go 😩 and omg, I'm so happy my content is finally reaching a European audience, thank you so much for watching and commenting (I've never been to Portugal, but would like to visit someday)! 🥹❤

@@jemi_ ahahhs dont be afraid to wear this type of clothes even if youre only going out for a walk, ur excuse can simply be "i felt like dressing up today". If u feel like it, js wear it, it makes the day more enjoyable in my experience (as someone who dresses extravagantly nearly every day) Besides, you look super cute dressed up like a princess

@@generated.name.by.human. Yes, I agree with you, I'm used to people calling me "extra" at this point haha, but sometimes I still have to remind myself that other people's opinions don't really matter (and it's not like the way I dress offends anyone)😊 At the end of the day, if I feel like dressing up, that's what I'll do!❤

First of all, how cute you look in those outfits! Truly finnish fairy! 💙🤍 Oh, that 'tuulipuku' (I can't remember the english word right now) sent me back to past! :D I had that one of those as well, except in different colors. I eventually stopped wearing them because they were way too noisy. I feel much more comfortable in quieter fabrics. Also, you're right about the late start about finding own style. I got pretty late start because I listened too much my parents and later my partner... I really started to blossom in this area after my divorce. Nowadays, I'm happy with a partner who doesn't want to change me nor my style 💖

Thank you, I definitely felt like a little fairy! 🥹🧚🏻💕 I don't think I was ever into the tuulipuku either cuz of the noise and how quickly it could overheat you haha! I love to hear that you've been able to find your style (and a loving and supportive partner!) despite the many setbacks!❤ I feel like it's extra hard to experiment with your style or do anything outside of the norm in nordic countries because of the societal pressure to dress like everyone else 😞
@littlelilykitty45272 күн бұрын
@@jemi_ Yeah, the societal pressure can be such a setback. Although, nowadays it has been better. Maybe because I have more courage now or maybe because people are more accepting nowadays (at least the younger generation). Oh, and con environment has really helped me to develop my style! In cons, I feel accepted no matter what I wear and I got the best accessories from cons. (Also, I found my partner from Ropecon 💕)

@@littlelilykitty4527 I never had the chance to attend a con, but I really wanted to when I was younger! I loved seeing cosplayers around NYC when I lived there, the dedication for the recreations was much appreciated as well ❤
