As a guitar player whose brain crashes whenever people talk about how synths create sounds, this was actually a very good tutorial on the basics of how they work.

Thank you, you really understand and explain so clearly how this works. If you don't have a general video on setting up synthesizers I'd really like that

Thank you! I'm glad that you are interested, actually I'm working on a course, I already have a couple of 1h classes recorded, but there is still some work to do before the release. Stay tuned, friend

Amazing work Allan! Your attention to all the small details make all the difference especially for musicians that seek not only to reproduce but especially understand how Mr. Wright made the magic glue that in a way was the soul in every music from Pink Floyd. Congratz on the Premium Preset Pack. Its for sure the best avaliable on the market atm

Thanks a lot for this wonderful tutorial. I was able to recreate it on the Arturia Minimoog the first time several months ago, but I've bought the Moog Grandmother in the meantime and was able to create it on this one as well. I am using the modwheel for the vibrato, but it's fine. Thanks again.

One of the simplest. And easiest patches to make on most synths

Very nice. You should do some Yes and Genesis synth recreations as well/
@AllanLobo Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment, what sounds do you think would be nice to recreate? I confess I know very little of Yes and Genesis. I know Fragile, Close to the Edge, Selling England by the Pound and Supper's ready hahahaha

@@AllanLobo Well, Rick Wakeman's classic Minimoog trademark sound is always a sure sought-after thing to do, as is Tony Banks' unique ARP Pro Soloist synth found precisely in those records you mentioned. Towards the end of The Revealing Science of God, a classic from YES, there is a sectiom where you can clearly listen to Rick's moog in all of its glory.

Do you have a solution for a good-sounding vibrato for keyboards that don't support aftertouch?
@AllanLobo Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can program a vibrato that automatically fades in using the advanced mode of Mini V
@behrad2085 Жыл бұрын
