Which movie look would you like to recreate ? Cheers, Flo

I have been tickled to find this video because I live the look of film also and have struggled to find ways of imitating it digitally. Would you be up for trying to match frames from "The Sound of Music" and "The Searchers" in another video?

The low exposure discovery is intriguing as I'm generally trying to raise it for my own projects, to show more detail, though it isn't needed. I love this video, the concept was executed perfectly and your examples were great. I look forward to seeing more; perhaps some Fincher next time.

Glad you enjoyed the video mate!! I would have loved to do Fincher, as you can imagine, but I had to pick movies that were shot on film :)

They need to hook you up with cinematch so you can show us a proper workflow using cinematch and filmconvert!

I do actually have Cinematch but I haven't got the chance to properly use it yet!

Hey Flo, love your content and anything you produce around colour grading because I love what you’re outputting. Could I ask why in nitrate you select Film and not Film gen 5? Thanks :)
@OfTwoLands2 жыл бұрын
Thank you !! I picked Film because most of the content was shot on the regular 6K in Gen 4, and even when I shoot with the 6K Pro in Gen 5 I revert to Gen 4 in post as I prefer it :)

@@OfTwoLands thanks for the reply :) great to know! What is it between Gen 4 and 5 that you like?

Great challenge and may try this myself for sure, did wonder why you edited in FCP rather than Resolve?
@OfTwoLands2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for stopping by mate! I have always used FCPX to edit, so I am used to it and faster with it I guess. But I do want to try to edit in Resolve since I already use it for transcoding, correcting and noise reduction.

@@OfTwoLands I've made the switch from premier pro and it's been good, though I don't edit lots due to work so may be a bit harder though I just changed my shortcuts and was done. 🤘
