nice technique but i'm having difficulties to follow your tutorial because, often i can't see the whole tree, and as you are doing it very fast, it's very hard. Would you be kind enough to share a screenshot of the tree in whole, thanks.

did you end up figuring it out?
@luiscarlosmarquez335 Жыл бұрын
@@hammerhead_theanimationgoat Yes! I did a test on a model I created and ended up with some solid results! I'm wondering if there is anyway we could get this same look on cycles...

@@luiscarlosmarquez335 bro theres no way! I've been trying to do the same thing! Let me know if you find anything!
@luiscarlosmarquez335 Жыл бұрын
@@hammerhead_theanimationgoat I'm thinking that we can get that look by separating lights and shadows in compo, but it might not give us the same result... We will have that answer by trying it hahaha

Downside is, the RGB to Shader with the ramp doesnt work in Cycles. Think it needs a different approach
@RomboutVersluijs3 жыл бұрын
The window for vector node into the colormap looks way different when using CYcles. Wonder if that is correct.
@cinemelies734 Жыл бұрын
You need use Eevee no Cycles bro.
@RomboutVersluijs Жыл бұрын
@@cinemelies734 that's why I stated it's a downside bro

@@RomboutVersluijs no it simply just doesn't make sense for it to be cycles cause this is basically a TOON shader
@bahershukry70652 жыл бұрын
Is that valid on animation too or different ?
@amielgoco58372 жыл бұрын
Yup, it'll be applied to each frame in your animation since it's all in the node editor. Tho the shader to RGB node only exists within Eevee as of now, so you won't be able to do this method in Cycles.

can you go slower step by step cuz you are randomly skipping steps
