I which the crab pots were that small and light when the winch’s didn’t work on my dad’s 30 foot Monterey commercial crab boat(San Francisco), it took the two of us to haul them up. Dungarees crab, it was hard work but good memories.

Oh man I can't imagine how heavy that would be! And yes the best memories!

I was in Miami and the Keys for a job & fun in January 1989. The Superbowl was the following week so the Sunday Miami newspaper had a special supplement surrounding the Super Bowl. They asked local celebrities where they would take friends coming in for the game. Every one of them included Joe's Stone Crab in Miami. I had just eaten there a couple of days before. I recommend trying out a batch of crabs boiled with Zatarain's Liquid Crab Boil. It's spicy. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

Yup a new intro for a new season! Unfortunately that was when I was in Guatemala. But it will stay in older videos! Happy Holidays!
@KevinlinnaneАй бұрын

do you have to buy the bait or just get trash pieces from restaurants
@SailingTheFarSideАй бұрын
We buy pigs feet and then grab carcasses that are left over!
@JamesMorgan-r9dАй бұрын
You can take both claws now ….no?
@SailingTheFarSideАй бұрын
Yup you can! We leave ones that would be floaters or are too small. Floaters need more time to grow!

I saw an extremely drunk guy break a couple molars trying to bite through a stone crab claw. His wife was frantic for him to stop trying but he kept going like it was some kind a manly challenge. Total dumbass.
