The worst part about this is that the Ret is going to feel completely justified in his choice, even though it was the blatantly wrong one. If anything, he should've shot 6, who claimed to be Shrouded. There's enough suspicion for a Ret to shoot that.

@@LAZERAK47V2 imo I wouldn't shoot 6 who either actually was shrouded and is not a killing role (so most likely town) or actually was shroud and thus immune, over 9 who was hard pushing to guilty the confirmed lookout, splitting off what was confirmed to be a coven member. Tbh i also don't hate the decision to shoot seer because of the same pushiness on conf LO, but I think it was the wrong night to do so because theyre confirmed to not be cov, so its either rec being scum or actual town tunneling, and cov more important than rec at that point imo

@@tcmax7837Even if Shrouds are immune, that's still information you can give to town. At the very least, it confirms whether or not they were actually Shrouded or they were lying about their role. Either way, you end up with more information than simply shooting a Seer claim (which is highly likely to have a TP on them, seeing as they're the strongest TI in the game) while also confirming your existence. One thing to keep in mind is that Lookout claims can also be Wildlings, so you shouldn't trust them right away. The Seer he attempted to shoot outted a Coven, so they clearly weren't Coven-aligned. Even if they were recruited (which they were), they can't exactly do anything until they have votes and they can still find Coven for you.

@@LAZERAK47V2 while shooting a shroud is info, keep in mind the state of the game. 3 townies are dead and only 1 cov is dead, so now theres 6 town (one of which is rec) with 3 cov, shroud, jackal +recs also alive. While in hindsight we know only death from evils N2 was a coven member, we can’t really assume that. If there are more town deaths than evil deaths N2 the game is completely off the rails for town and close to a guaranteed loss. So as of N2 6 is better left to a TI imo. Town REALLY needs an evil to die N2, not just D3, and that responsibility pretty much falls on the ret. Digression, but 15 is confirmed not wild, they were hard 1f1d with a now dead coven member, and coven tried to lynch them in that 1f1. 15 is either LO or I guess maybe shroud making some sort of a weird play? (Edit: I realize you meant this as an excuse for seer pushing to guilty D2. I still don’t see the guilty on 15 especially after 15 got voted pretty fast and 11s claim is weak as hell) Again, personally I think the best shot was 9, because 9 really led the effort to mislynch 15 in the 1f1, but as mentioned I also don’t hate the seer shot because behavior was so scum. Main factors against doing it this early is as i mentioned that seer could just be someone town tunneling hard for some reason and as you mentioned that they probably have TP (though if I was TP I would’ve gone on the LO instead tbh, but I understand the seer pick too) Edit to add: also not to mention that, if we work off the assumption that 6 is shroud, shooting 6 doesn’t even necessarily confirm you. You’d just be stepping into a 1f1 with someone with a weak claim. But so do you kinda. And if more town than evils died N2 you’re also working against an evil maj that probably want vig power out of the game.

I honestly kinda get shooting off a scumread that youre rec based on how you hard pushed LO even after 6 confirmed them, but doing that N2 is insane when youre conf not cov and 9 is as obviously coven as they were that day (and whatever 10 was cooking D3 idfk.) Without anything going very different D3 I prolly wouldve shot you N3 if its looking good for town maj though tbh based on that D2 push.

I mean... it was a seer 1f1, no reason not to push one for one of them. Definitely wasn't a great scumread, but sadly they're going to feel completely validated in that terrible shot simply because, by dumb luck, it was a recruit.

@@Missingno_Miner it was a seer 1f1 where one was a LO claim with good will (so maybe a wildling) that was pretty much fast voted (which i think matters in a seer 1f1) against a TP claim with 2 ccs. (LO also has 2 ccs, but both are no blood invest claims, one of which is kinda looking like shroud already) If you're actually town there at minimum you would want to up 11 for a full claim imo.
