That's informative. But 1 query , for eg : The CTC range is 5 lpa , candidate is not holding any offer / or he is and his ECTC is 10 Lpa. How can we negotiate? Can you make a salary negotiation mock call as well during sourcing?

Tell them detailed about your company, what they are doing , what exactly the company expects from the candidate. Then ask him/her are you confident in this? They will say Yeah I'm. Then ask them to score themselves out of 10. Now ask them the expectations. Then if they tells like the same 10 LPA from a 5 they have. Ask them why this high amount? They will tell any vague reasons out of nervousness. Tell them about industrial standard and expectations should be in standard way,else we cannot take it to the next level. If the candidate is interested to the company, sure they'll come down. Try this way..
