Put your wheat farm on the lower level and block off the access to the villager in the centre, so the farmer can't see him or throw food at him. Then give that farmer at least 8 stacks of seeds, so his inventory is full of seeds only. Then when he collects the wheat he will drop it on the ground and you can collect that using a minecart with hopper running under the farmland.

Sometimes it can take a while because the villagers need to fill their inventory with the crops, plus the time it takes for the crops to grow. It’s slow at the beginning, but it gets faster later on.

I build this, but the farmer in the second floors stopped sharing food, now he cant loot more and its going to waste. Guess i have to remove the farm and replace it with one that uses minecarts to loot😢 i really love how this farm looks

The farmers are supposed to pass the extra crops they collect over to the villager in the center (carpenter) and they drop it into the hopper and it ends up in your chest.

They don't need to be cartographers, they can have any job you like, apart from Farmer. They are there just so the farmer will throw the food towards them.

You don't need to stand inside the farm to make it work but you need to be within simulation distance of the farm. e.g. If your game settings are set to a simulation distance of 6 chunks then you must be within 6 chunks of the farm for it to work (1 chunk = 16 blocks).

Possibly you are not doing it in an orderly way, it is very important to bring the villagers 1x1 and settle it with their corresponding work! -Before bringing the villagers, they must not have any profession! -You must take 1x1 to the farm, as shown in the video! -And try to trade with them, so they don't lose their jobs or change jobs!
