I've been watching the other videos regarding turning cast iron and didn't know why you weren't using oil. In this video you said they use graphite and it's self lubricating, very interesting. Must store that in long term memory. Thanks!

Nicely explained. Worth cleaning that old hole with a solvent like acetone prior to gluing with Loctite?

Enjoyed your video very much. May I say, it is better to grind a centre punch with the grinding from the point to the body of the punch. The point does last longer if the tiny score marks from the grinding are not round the tip.

I think it is much easier to undrill holes that are in the wrong place.
