If no one said this, I want to thank you for doing test at this range of limbs & spine. Thank you. You and Jake kaminski are the only two only two that are approaching this with imperial evidence than marketing hype.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

A little bit of arrow length will bring you closer to tune but since you are using a clicker I think you should opt for weaker spined arrows, or 100 grains insert and then add 200 grain point. Tuning also has to do not only with the spot that the arrow hits but also with the orientation of the shaft according with the target face. It has to be straight. A properly tuned arrow has to be accurate and fly straight even with out flechings. No tail left or right... Otherwise even if flies good when fleched, it will sow its flaws when in open, reacting to the wind changes and also in distance. I used to do target Archery for many years and I had to involve with trad bows and instinctive shooting and compound bow arrow tuning to understand that the most important thing in Archery is an arrow that flies straight out of your bow.

man, i would love to be able to have my own shop and tune bows... have a range and all. that's an awesome shop.

That looks really good on both sets of arrows but at the same time not a lot of people realize what hand torque or how fidgety it is the shoot of airship you gotta make sure that shot count

I assume all points were glued in. If the 200 is longer than the 120 perhaps it is a more forgiving node on the end of the arrow balancing on the rest with the 200 grain point. However that node would change quite a bit with the much shorter 120.

With them longer points being that you have to draw the bow further would it add extra weightto the draw I don't know it may be only a pound or 2 or whatever do but won't it affect it but could you just shoot early instead of having to draw pass the clicker that Away that way you're in kind of the same area as you're at the arrows and you don't start to break down or shake

Why don't you use 450 spine since you have paragons?

Surely point weight effect on the dynamic spine would depend on the actual spine? As in a less rigid spine would be more severely effected by a heavier point?

At 53-52 lbs. That’s some massive weightage for a recurve. Most target archers never go beyond 40 lbs. To be honest not sure why, maybe due to exhaustion. My students stick below the 40 lbs mark & I see them getting exhausted easily. Spine : material : weights - stiffness: aluminium/carbon: necessity/placement of weight. Aluminium arrows are very forgiving when it comes to stiffness, carbons aren’t. That’s due to the construction. Which invariably has an effect of how energy is distributed and stored through the shaft. Weights - if you graph the point weights, you ll realise it isn’t a linear curve but rather the changes in stiffness are very fluctuating, when studying 90-120 grains and 120- 250 grains. Any weight added to the end - adds to stiffness but placement is crucial. Spin wings have the least grains of the lot. When I build an arrow I need something that has a good FOC ard 11%, once that is done it’s always the bow.. tune the bow.. Arrow vs bow - I can do 4 things with an arrow to tune but I can do 10 things with the bow. When it comes to recurves sometimes things like brace height and string count have such an impact down the range.. Kinda scary, 3 different sets of strings and this kid was shooting three different ways.. that’s the beauty of these recurves..

Before you move your clicker you should pull each of the arrows with the weight scale and see how much more weight you are pulling due to the length of the tips. From what I have learned just a little bow weight makes a huge difference on tune. I.E. if you move the clicker in/out (to match your proper draw) your drawn weight will change so does your tune.

I don't know about that whole point thing being longer is going to Stephen up the arrow I don't know about that 1 As any amount of weight that you put on the front of a object will automatically weaken it That's what I have heard anyway I've never heard anything about if the point makes the arrow longer it makes it stiffer that's a good perspective and I'd like to see some testing done on that

Couldn’t you just use the arrow chart?

Stop it with all arrows points it's you not the stuff you are shooting get set off arrows and go for it gold points an unobtineme it's just a bow
