👌👍👏 I love the fact you create such wonderful items from what most people tend to chuck away in the recycle bin. I've always had a comfortable relationship with waste and I get a real flutter of joy when I create something from nothing. We know better. Paoer of any kind is amazing and I love it. Thank you for sharing this treasure. Love your work so much x

Oh my gosh Eva! You should absolutely NOT apologize for trying to make money off your art. You are one of the best paper artists out there. (The other one is Marlies of course.) You put so many tutorials out there for free and Every. Single. One. is a master class! I'm always blown aways and I always learn so much! I didn't know about your Patreons website, but it's almost my birthday, so I know what to add to my wishlist! And again, don't apologize for being a professional badass artist!

Your project is stunning as always. Love the use of refuse to create something so beautiful & so re-sellable. I remember teaching classes years ago called “minimal new,” where students could use 2 new products and 2 pieces of equipment combined with 4 or more materials previously used for something else. These were the days before KZbin, so I would really have to hunt for great examples of how transforming an artist can be when they choose. Sure wish I could have shown them your work! (I needed a Back to the Future time machine car 😉) Thanks for sharing your glorious talent!

Me: buys papers and embellishments just to make a project. It ends up looking like garbage. Eva:: uses actual garbage to make a project. Looks like a masterpiece.

You are the MacGyver of paper crafts. I don’t know how your mind even comes up with these amazing things you’re creating. Wow! A completely recycled book that looks like you spent an arm and a leg to make. I am definitely going to try making this. I will have to skip the book plates because I don’t have a Sizix machine, but everything else is doable. Thank you for the inspiration and all the ideas.

Your such an inspiration. What a fantastic, creative little book you made there. I'm terrible for keeping all the lovely brown paper that comes in packing boxes, that has ever been posted to us. For this very reason. It makes great wrapping paper for gifts and in this case...book coverings. I also keep can pulls, for just such occasions. You never know when a ring pull will come in handy during a crafting session. 😂 Loved this process very much. Thank you for sharing your ideas. Can't wait to see this item in its finished state. Please show us won't you. 😊 All the best crafty wishes. X

I'm always so happy to see when you've uploaded another video! It's such fun to watch your creation come together. Another imaginative and creative use of simple materials. What a great idea to use sport tape for the spine. I've been trying all sorts of different materials for strengthening spines other than Tyvek, which is so expensive. The sport tape is perfect--flexible, strong and you can distress it with ink. Thank you for sharing and greetings from Canada.

You did all that in an hour?? Eva, you are amazing! It looks like you used two different types of tape, is that right? The paper tape on the inside and the fabric tape on the outside? Those are perfect! I have a rolls of each in my first aid kit but never thought to use them for book making! Thanks for the tip! With love from the Southern California desert, MK ♥️🌞🌵

Eva, you are so wonderfully creative! I found your channel a week or so ago on recommendation from a fellow newbie, and have been working my way through all your projects. I really like your economy of movement and how you are thinking 10 steps ahead! Something to aspire to. As a newbie, can you tell me more about your work surface. It appears to be glass, which makes sense. Also, what do you clean it with and why is it a great surface? Any other great tips about making and highly functional and attractive workspace is welcome. Again, thank you for all you share.

@texstylusttextilestyle also very sorry for my late response. Yes I do have a glass on my table and I wouldn’t change it.
