Recycled Satellite dishes and yard art

I have recently become excited about recycling and yard art. I dismantled a sat dish in my back yard for a bird feeder, but I discovered some easy art projects to beautify these ugly metal contraptions. [e-mail]

You said you wasn't an Artist, but YOU ARE! I love the things you've made with the dishes! Have you shown the Woman that worked at the roller rink the dish you made of her? If I were her I would love it and be impressed that I had made such an impression on you after all those years. I thought of something you might want to try. If you can take a part those BNC covers (the milky white looking things) and place a little solar bulb in it and attach the little solar panel on the top, maybe they would give enough of a glow at night thru that plastic lense to look like shining eyes..,. Keep up the great work. I just got a BIG satellite dish from a neighbor, and plan on making it a roof for a gazebo! I also have several unpainted aluminum ones that I plan on making solar ovens out of... I just subscribed to you and can't wait to see more cool things come out of your projects. Stay safe!
