Liked cigar box project a lot, really liked the lighter colors, the hand made paper inside was beautiful, and the colors matched nicely

What a great job. I love that rusty mirror and the little box for the doubled-up butterfly. The black band all around the box was a good idea. It gives contrast and a the brushes stand out so well. I love your movable parts and the 2 little arms, great 4core solutions, as well as the orange color splash. The big surprise is the inside of the lid...'work with a paintbrush'...hahaha! It looks fantastic! I'll never ever throw away a paintbrush anymore 😅. A very creative project, and an interesting line-up. I'm also very happy with the 4core April, I have some ideas already. Thanks for organising the challenges Ina!

Thank you so very much Mieke. I am really messy with my (cheap) brushes, and have to replace them often, so this seemed the perfect project to recycle them. The design of the box evolved kinda bit by bit. Glad you like it. Although I pick the challenges with my own interest in mind ,I never have a plan to start with. and often don't get to it until the last week of the month. I too look forward to create a miniature, it will be fun to see everyone's idea, including yours. : )

Between working 6 days a week and spending half of the month back and forth house and dog sitting on the other side of my island, I have had no time at all. I will be home again on Thursday, and if I am lucky will not have to work Saturday the 30th...so if the stars align I may be able to work my magic and get something in 'at the stroke of midnight'...fingers crossed!

Awesome paintbrush project!! Love the surprise brushes inside! Great submissions too. I’ve been painting my kitchen cabinets and was going to use the brush I was using to make my piece…… but I’m still not all the way finished with the cabinets. 😩🥴
