Recycling and crushing wood/boards/pallets with hammer mill to remove iron and nails and make mulch

Did this video as a sample for one of our customers to see about crushing and grinding up wood with nails and other pieces of steel. The goal was to crush the wood small enough to liberate the nails and other pieces of metal so they can be removed with a magnet and then sell or reuse the crushed and pulverized wood.

I like the concept of your machine. Getting rid of wood pallets for my customers is a big headache in my area since landfills don't want them. But your method of feeding your machine is a bit hair-raising.

how big of a pile do you grind up often. by the pic in the video thats a big pile. you should get a tub grinder or have someone come in with one and grind them up. too bad you not in Michigan or I'd come do them once I get my grinder and get it going that I'm in the process of getting now
