So interesting, making something cool out of recycled materials is my most favorite topic. In place of a plastic see-through material I will use leftovers of my recent experiments with baby-oiled papers. I oiled many different types including thermo-paper (receipts… bad idea). I left them to dry between newspaper pages overnight and was pleased about transparency of many of them. The best one was a laser printount on ordinary office copy paper of an image that I made in settings about 70% transparent before printing. Loved that. As for the fake nails, come on, not that long ago many of us learned how to appear in online meetings with presentable tops and pajama bottoms 😊 so no hurt feelings in your viewers, I am sure. And I also dye black-and-white laser printouts (but with onion skins water usually, I use onions a lot in my cooking).

I have to try that experiment with baby oil. Sounds interesting. I tried with candles and iron and it worked ok. My nails just won't grow how they used to 🤣. Paint, dyes, glue and caring for my numerous plants definitely don't help. So, I'd rather use fake nails than not do a video at all. At least the packaging is nice, perfect for specimen cards 🤣

Wow, love how you used every part of the packaging! Everything turned out perfectly. I’d need press on nails as well! I’m always impressed/puzzled when I see such lovely hands creating all of these fabulous crafts on KZbin. My crafty hands are rarely presentable haha
