Hello Kavi, here’s a food for thought. These sort of flight disruptions happen every day (think about the number flights operating at any given time across the world). Technological advancements (both flight and weather predicting) is such that, at the end of the day, no risk will happen to you. When a run way is closed due to bad weather, a pilot will try to make it to the destination until and otherwise it’s completely impossible. In such situations they’ll land in a nearby airport. And from there, they won’t leave you deserted. They’ll make accommodations until you arrive at your destination. These things happen regularly. Saying so you don’t have to afraid next time. But feeling frustrated due to inconvenience, that’s natural. The above excerpt is from a frequent flyer like me who’s never nervous 😊. Your parents don’t have to get this stressed out. Every time you encounter such a unique situation, it all adds to your flying experience 😃

I'm pretty sure they know the consequences... There is no risk involved here.. Chennai ke bathela vehra nearest airport le reroute pane porenga... For some reasons like leave or some events or work in India they have to travel according to the schedule.
