The Judges are too biased... Taiske is from Floorriorz like Nicholas, and bgirl Mim's husband is a Floorriorz's bboy Steez as well... So 2/3 judges are relatives of the same crew as Nicholas.

I'm from Brazil, and I've been following BC ONE since 2004, and I've seen several battles with questionable outcomes. But Nicolas winning against Hiro with a score of 10 is the most absurd I've ever seen.

imho nicolas battle against hiro10 is the only one where I think you can make an argument that he won.. hiro10 mostly used power, and while it was a very high level and clean power, he did not respond with anything in particular to nicolas sets.. its like if one person is talking to someone and the other person doesnt even try to hear them and respond.. As for all other battles of nicolas i honestly think he lost to monmoi genroc and haruto.. dont get me wrong nicolas seems very dope bboy, he has tight moves and didnt seem to be tired or stressed out.. but in those 3 battles if you look at the entrances from nicoals and his opponent, and you replay that and you really say to yourself "ok he did this this and that, how did nicolas respond " , i think you can notice his opponents used so much more moves, both original and basic fundamentals, and not to mention different variety of power/freezes/toprock/footwork/flows.. just rewatching his battles and really trying to take into account everything - musicality/confidence/battle tactics/toprock/footwork/tricks/power/flow etc... he seems to have less than his opponents.. idk it will be interesting to see how he performs in world final

Taisuke tend to be a bias judge, this is why bboy and bgirls in the same crew should never be judging the same battle. It’s a bad look both ways, if they vote against their crew mate than it’s shady but they vote for their teammate it’s bias, it’s a lose lose situation so stop having breakers in the same crew judge.

@@user-js4ue2eq5w 少なくとも複数人以上同じクルーの関係者がジャッジに入るのはスケジュールの兼ね合いあれどなんとか避けてほしいですね 2017のJCでSteezが優勝した時もジャッジの3/5がSteezのチームメイトで問題視されたので ただ、top16のvs m0nm0i以外はNicolasの勝利は妥当だと思いました 特に問題視されてるvs hiro10、hiro10はヘッドやエルボーエアー、エルボーフリーズ、バックスピンを多様しすぎていて、repetitiveと判断されても仕方がないと思います Dany dannとhiro10のバトル見ると分かりやすいですが、相手がシルエット見せてくるタイプと当たるとパワームーバーはワンディメンションに見られがちなのでそこが課題かなと 難しいムーブをしてるのはHiro10ですが、バトルに勝ったのは、atitude含めてstyle見せたNicolasだと感じましたね それが自分の好みと合うかどうかはまた別の話です

It's interesting that the one mixed race b-boy and b-girl in the competition both won and will represent Japan. That may be confusing to some at the World Finals, but they join the likes of Naomi Osaka and Abdul Hakim Sani Brown in being mixed race Japanese athletes competing at the highest level. Good for them. Yasmin I can agree with winning. Musicality, originality, and just charisma through the roof. Her battle with Eri Fenesis was my favorite. She's just a very good dancer, not just a breakdancer. I agree she could've done with better music. The music for this event was largely meh. We don't need the DJ Fleg playlist every time, but I think a lot of the dancers weren't feeling it either. Nicholas however I don't understand. There was nothing he did that his opponents weren't doing better. His movement was slower and less dynamic. Top rock and footwork were basic. Particularly in the battle with the guy from Body Carnival he got absolutely demolished both rounds. He had a couple of decent rounds throughout, but I honestly don't understand how he went all the way.

You can’t seriously watch this and think it’s acceptable judging. I’ve always heard that RB1 has some shocking outcomes (inside jobs) but this is by far the most cringe thing I’ve ever witnessed. I have nothing against the winner seams like a nice guy, I’m going strictly of the sets and some weren’t even in the same league. Get your act together RB1.

Yeah. By just about any criteria his opponents were better than him every round. There has to be a more accurate and honest way of judging than just 3 judges holding up the name of the winner. Like, have more judges for a start so biases are less impactful. And maybe have each judge only focus on specific aspect of the dance, like originality, musicality, difficulty, precision, etc.
