For people saying it’s stupid to punch someone in a helmet, that’s partially true. You will hurt your hand, but if you crack someone hard in the jaw you can do some damage. The cage concentrates all the force to one spot on your chin. So you like I said it hurts and you could do some damage. I say this all from personal experience, on both sides, punching but mostly getting punched.
