There will also be favouritism which is precisely why VER signed a deal without even waiting to see how the car is, he has the team in his pocket and he will use that to his advantage next year. They owe him for his signature and I think his father had a lot to do with that shrewd move, its risky though if RBR aren't quite on it. Ricciardo doesn't have a contract so straight off the bat he will be the red headed step child or Mark Webber v2 no matter how nice a guy he is. You will see an angry Ricciardo next year much like we saw with Webber.

Watching Horner Grilling the Grid, I realized why he was linked to replace Ecclestone as the Chief of F1. He knows more than your usual F1 team principal, has a great sense of humor (no Wonder he gets on well with Sebastian), and is a racer at heart. This is all the more impressive considering he is one of the youngest amongst the lot of the team principals in F1 at the moment.
