Oh yeah, this is definitely some of the most technical and big mountain type terrain out there and to ski it, you need more skills then most have and to do it with style, far more than I ever dream of! Definitely gnarly slopes.

You do have a valid point. I did watch the whole thing but I guess what turned me off was I usually think of BC skiing as hiking in and earning your turns as opposed to taking a heli. With that said, I would love to ski this, as long as I didn't crap myself in fear skiing those chutes and drops. In no way am I trying to lessen what these guys do- call me pedantic but I don't think the term BC quite works for this.

I have the up most respect for these guys and RedBull for furthering the sport of skiing, but as much as I want to love this, and as much as I do, I have one serious issue, "This is NOT Back country skiing!" All these skiers are very talented across numerous disciplines, but I believe I speak on many skiers behalf's when I say the BC skiing involves earning your turns, skiing natural features and being prepared for anything that could happen. Those kickers look scary, but they aren't BC!

You can ski here if you want. But they won't let you on the chairlift without a beacon, probe, and shovel. If you pick it right and have $300 to spend you can get two drops on the Heli. I would watch the weather in April. Epic

Honestly I hate the whole skiers vs. snowboarder thing, I prefer skiing but snowboarding to me looks pretty damn cool too. As long as your not out of control or posing a danger to someone I don't care how you get to the bottom of the run, you could take a scooter for all I care.
