Even after 40 years of extensive riding both on and off road, I couldn't dream about the skills these riders possess. That said, while the coverage is excellent, I would like to see a lot more about the support crew and the bikes - also a 3 minute overview of the entire course wouldn't hurt.

Enduro is a great sport it deserves more recognition as it is very skilfull to ride flat out on a course you have never seen before. Sadly it is difficult to film so is not TV friendly.

Haha! Depends on the rider. But what do you want? The best machine and most powerful one or the kids stuff (easier to drive and control with less power). I have had both 2 and 4 stroke and loved them both. Each have their own upside and downs. Don't want to start a 2 vs 4 stroke war., but it's fun to see a 40+ years old technology still kicking ass today. The newest 4 stroke can't even match it. Anyway don't get me wrong i loved both. The important thing is to love your ride and have fun.

that is correct but 2 strokes have the power band and that can be very helpful in some situations and they are also a lot lighter

and as for the rest of the comment, we got an old suzuki motorcycle from 76 thats still running like a champ, never has had any work done, but stuff isn't made that way anymore. as for the question why they dont use more 4 strokes, you can't get the same type of power out of a 4 stroke that you can a 2 stroke, wet peat with morning dew to red clay as an example, use the low rpms on the peat than hammer on once you hit the clay, the powers there when you want it but you can be delicate too.

Try novemberkåsan here in sweden before you say this is the tuffest! Its one day race and 2 night races (this year it was -14 degres cold) Total distance of special stages are 304 miles (in a ditch!!!) and transport stages 180 miles and a narrow timelimit with a fue pitstops! You have to change clothes and eat and drink after every stage and then stress to the other one before you get a timepenallty (14 stages) There are like 150 guys that signs up for it but its only like 20 gys that finnish!

the 2 stroke went max of about a max of 120 hours on a piston we tried everything to make it better we eventually dialed the mix ratio down on it to get 90 out of it most the time. the 4 stroke went like i think close to 600
