Noob question: Why the live matches from Red Bull Wololo start the broadcast at Feudal Age (and not from the very beginning)? oO

They use the empire war mode ( a game mode when all players start in feudal age with some buildings and villagers prebuilt ) Not the standard mode start from dark age. Alot of people like the slow buildup in standard aoe2, but for more casual viewers it might be a bit more action packed/fast paced already from the start and games are usually not as long on average which is the 2 main reasons they use it I guess.

@@guilhermezimmermann9692 yea I prefer standard mode too. Pro players are so good they rarely do any mistakes in dark age but it gives casters more time to analyze the civ matchup as the match builds up in pace.

@@Angrydudu there are so many things happening in Dark, sometimes even a rush, but mostly map discovering/spotting enemy, stealing each others herdables, etc. Specially because they are pro players is that we should be viewing/watching every second of the game haha

Hi Memb. You are great and amazing. Spain is beautifull and also this castle which on my wish list now ). But this format of Red Bull Wololo was sooo boring be honesty. All games was similar and standart archers - scouts. Same civilizations. Now need strategy or plan. Just micro game. And most of games finished even not achieved Imperial age. Warlords format was an amazing with different style of maps. Red bull should take it in consideration. But show and event itself very nice.
