I was helping a photographer friend at the Friars Club during the early 2000's when they were honoring Phyllis Diller and saw Red Buttons perform his 'Never Had a Dinner' routine live. He was quite hilarious with his act. In addition to seeing Mr. Buttons, their were other Hollywood alumni such as Milton Berle (just before his death), Sid Caesar, Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner, Tony Martin and the lovely Cyd Charisse to name but a few. A moment in my life I will never forget.
