The second one truly made me realise how much John actually changed from the start of chapter 1 to the end of the epilogue. He became a much better man and I think he redeemed himself. John changed from a selfish man unconcerned about his family to a man who would do absolutely anything for his family including giving up his outlaw lifestyle and becoming a rancher even though he didn’t want to, fighting in a Mexico revolution and taking on The Mexican Army, killing his father figure, becoming a good father to Jack and a good husband to Abigail. That made me appreciate how far John had come.

I like how someone finally mentioned the fact that Dutch just wanted attention. I think honestly he murdered Colm’s brother in cold blood because he wanted attention he would get from having a rival. All big gunslingers and gangs all had rivals so Dutch would have one too. Also I think Dutch Turing evil was a combination of his brain injury during the trolly job, Micah manipulating him and being in his ear all the time, the death of Hosea and other characters in the gang, having so many setbacks, having so many doubters, and the fact that he was always evil and that he finally just revealed who he truly was. Hosea was stopping him from being who he truly was. Hosea kept him grounded in reality. After the trolly mission he became very aggressive so that obviously had something to do with it. And Micah fed into his instincts. Micah was the demon on his shoulder well Hosea was the angel on his shoulder.

Cuz in chapter 3 in rdr2, when agent milton and ross discovered the gang's camp, they dont even recognize john and john introduced himself as rip van winkle so I think if john never returned, he would not be associated with the van der linde gang, at least by milton and ross

I do think that Arthur would have married Abigial if John didnt return. I think that because of a journal entry where he mentions that maybe he should have married Abigail, and that he had thought of that many times. I also believe that Lenny would have been nearly as prominent as Sadie and Charles. He and Arthur had a very close friendship and I believe he would have been by Arthurs side until the end.

My theory on john leaving the gang, is that it would be much harder for milton and ross to find him because they don't know his real name, and him calling himself rip van winkle would make milton think that he's obviously lying, so when he does get caught by milton they'll either hang him or torture him to reveal the location of the gang or probably strongarm him to hunt down the gang and once they're finished they'll kill him next.

Considering the fact that they all speak english only and in the italy of the late 1800s 90% of the population couldn't write or read, let alone understand english, it would have been, at veru best, nearly impossible for them to even try to find jack. If Sean lived he probably be with Karen keeping her away from the a drunken death. They may end up like Bonnie and Clyde or this is a very low chance try to go clean like John If Kieran had lived he'll probably be there to help hang Colm then he'll probably stick with Mary-Beth. Than while she have a safe life as writer he'll more than likely try to open/work at stable. If Lenny lived he would sided with Arthur or have been sent away with Tilly and Jack for safety. After that Lenny being educated may have try to become a Lawyer or writer like Evelyn Miller If Hosea had lived post Guarma he won't have control over Dutch anymore. In Chapter 4 we can already see Dutch doing his own thing like with Bronte. Dutch at that point has been stopped by the law and more powerful figures too many times and the carnage he experienced in Guarma has awoke something inside of him. Him coming back he'll probably still think John is a traitor, Hosea is going to betray him or is a senile old coot, and Arthur as both. If Hosea did live he may not have much time, he was 55 and the average at that time was 50ish. It's said his father lived until 75 so if he had lived post Beaver Hollow he may have stayed with John and Abigail. Being the grandfather and positive role model for Jack. He may have left with Abigail at Pronghorn Ranch to keep an on eye on her and Jack, but would have lived and die at Beecher's Hope. Jack may still grow up to be a outlaw but with Hosea's influence I think that Jack after killing Ross would have tried to restart the ranch and live a somewhat honest life but being raised by a Gunslinger and Con-man he made be doing some shady business, especially during the 1920s

If nobody were to die in the gang there would be like a civil war situation and the gang splits with dutch and micahs gang and making a brand new gang while hosea and arthur would help the rest of the remaining gang (the women and jack) to safety and maybe hosea and arthur die side by side with no regrets

-What if Hosea survived, and Arthur didn't got Tuberculosis: Probably the whole gang would still togheter at the end of the chapter 6, since Hosea would have convinced Arthur and John to don't leave the gang, and also would have convinced Dutch that Micah was the true rat, killing him in the process, so the pinkertons wouldn't find them anymore. They would still do the train robbery, but probably the whole Wapiti Indians plot wouldn't happen anymore, since it was planned on Dutch's head by Micah since the begginig, so, Eagle Flies would probably still alive, alongside his father at Wapiti. At the end of the chapter, things also would get pretty rough with authorities at Roanoke Ridge, having no other alternative to the gang, than leave the place, and go to New Austin, since is the only Estate they didn't had run for yet. Then would start a whole new 7th chapter, were we would be playing as Arthur at New Austin. At this chapter we would probably see the down fall of the gang, starting by a own initiative of John and Abigail to leave them, scaried with how crazy and violent Dutch was becoming with new stupid robberies and unnecessary adventures (which was inevitable). Arthur and Hosea also weren't glad with new Dutch's behavior, So they plan John's family runaway alongside him, faking his death to all the other members. After that, Arthur and Hosea were betrayed and killed by Dutch when he discovers the truth. This causes on most of the other members leaving the gang, since they thougt Dutch killed them with no reason, but paranoid from his head. At the epilogue, on 1907, we would be abble to play as John Marston at Beecher's Hope, and instead of going after Micah, we go after Dutch in search of revenge at Mount Hagen, but reaching there, John finds out that Dutch was abandoned and left lonely, even by Javier and Bill by now, becoming so lunatic, miserable, and dominated by repentance, that killing him was just doing a favor. So he takes the Black Water Money, and leaves Dutch suffering lonely by Himself in the snow tempest. The rest of the story is the same on rdr1.

Resume: If the gang was around cuba: pretty much the same on the original story. but if they got killed or worst, epilogue wouldn't happened at all, cuz john would be hanged. If john picked the milk: everyone would be pissed off at him arthur would be a step-dad for jack, till the tb. john would be into another name, and living a "normal" life. till red dead 1 events he would hunt the other members, and getting killed by the end. Everyone getting alive: everyone who got killed on the lore, would be in arthur & john side. and certain members would be mencioned around the epilogue more. Jack being on italy: would be a fun arc then guarma. but since the dutch would had the charisma on bronte, it would turn the same thing like the original story but into another place, and jack having a bit of knowlege of italy.
