This has to be a whole reference to Robert Johnson, He was an African American blues player who sucked but all of a sudden was really good, even the first mission is a reference, The myth goes like this, Robert went to the crossroads one night playing his guitar and then the devil showed up and turned his guitar and played a few strings before handing back his guitar, accepting the guitar was a way of selling his soul. (Thank you to the people who told me my caps lock was on I didn't notice it) (I'm 17 btw not 50 lol)

What a waste of time c9mpared to making $ with free roam. 82k and 1,000 gold? Spending 56.4 hours to shoot up $71,516 worth of bullets from bad conditioned guns seems a pointless exercise. Treasure maps and free roam had me at 300+ gold and 78k with about 45 hours of gameplay last year! Need to rank or get achievements to reset gold in "progress"? Don't do these missions. Stick with hideouts, roadblocks and double sells for $ and gold.
