My friend once had a fail in Online, that makes me die laughing every time I think about it- let me tell you it lmao: We were at a post office and you could climb up on the roof. We decided to try and jump on our horses from on the roof. It was my try first and I landed flawlessly even though there were a lot of space between me and my horse. Though when it came to my friend- she weren’t that amazing... She jumped and as soon as she did, her horse turned around, hindquarters facing her, and with much force she literally landed on her ass, right on the horses head- it even made a thumping noise! She then flew up in the air and did some (quite impressive) backflips lmao. She then ended up landing face first and I cried laughing. The best Online experience lol

I got that horse leg glitch while I was doing the Angelo Bronte missions with John in Saint Denis, and I couldn’t stop laughing 😂 My poor horses knees wouldn’t bend and it was stuck like that until after the mission lol

Say what you want about Star Stable, the horses in Red Dead Redemption utterly lack self-preservation instinct. In Star Stable, your horse will stop before running into a tree. In Red Dead, they will launch themselves directly into that tree and hurl you fifty feet.

yeah the horses do spook and throw you off sometimes, depends what happens. sometimes when someone shoots at you they spook but they usually throw you off if you make them run and they are exhausted or if a dangerous wild animal is attacking

But as everyone says, don't get it for the horses lol It's mostly mature content but I wouldn't necessarily say it's strictly 18+, I got it when I was 16, so I'd say if you're around that age you can definitely look into the game more and see if you'd like the actual aspect of it 🤷🏽‍♀️ But obviously if you don't like games that contain violence and guns then I wouldn't recommend!

Tip: if you go to online options you can switch your character into Defensive mode an it makes it harder for griefers to grief you. They can still shoot you but they cannot lock on to you with aim assist and dead eye.
