You honestly don't need to worry. The RDR series uses the same R.A.G.E. engine, or Rockstar Advanced Game Engine, as GTA IV and V does. They use a modified version of Euphoria animation in all their games now. If you ever had doubts, you should erase them now. Come to think of it, this will be the first Rockstar game developed exclusively with PS4 and Xbox One unique console mainframe in mind. GTA V was a port, so any lack of physic properties due to hardware limitations of last generation hardware should be eliminated as well.

Red Dead Redemption.... One of my most favorite (Probably my favorite game actually) and one of my most played games of all time. I can't wait for the sequel and for xbox one backwards compatibility. I would also really like a remake of red dead for xbox one. full 1080p 60fps would be awesome.

the physics were so much better in this game. in gtav, you shoot someone and they just drop to the floor. In read dead, shoot them in the head, and they will have a brief seizure.

The physics engine here was so much better than the one in GTA5, here they react to getting shot, holding the wound or grasping it as they drop, in GTA5 they just drop to the ground with good physics but they don't look like they've just been shot. Esxpecially at 7:57, in GTA5 they would have just dropped dead straight away instead of trying to hang on and then inevitably dropping.
