The engine seems to fit the era of the game for some reason. They get shot somewhere and they show shock. Like if they get hit in the head they'll sometimes drastically turn their heads or kick or something. So realistic.

Oscar Leonardo I know I’m over a year late and you probably know but red dead 2 is even more realistic. you shoot someone in the body and they stiffen up and fall to the floor holding the area they got shot at while blood pours from it, and sometimes try to crawl away. And shooting someone in the head they go limp and flop onto the floor

Rdr1 doesn't have that happen, the first game is much more realistic, I've seen people get shot irl, and they don't act the way they do in the second gane

Benjamin Grissom Max Payne 3 or red dead redemption. Both have great physics that would be nice to see integrated into gta 6 or a mod for gta 5. But personally I really don't think the rag doll functions that are currently in-game are bad at all.

+CriminalNos Speaking of GTA V, they really should have used the same gore physics as Red Dead Redemption, but they never did, not even the next gen versions of GTA V's gore looks real enough, they could have just used Red Dead Redemptions version of gore, or even better, Max Payne 3's version of gore. Max Payne 3 is more graphic than Red Dead Redemption, especially that part where that homeless guy blow's himself up, killing two mobsters, and only for Max Payne to see the damage that has been done, and what you will see is the dead mobsters dismembered legs, arms, and heads, including an exposed open body, Rockstar games should have put that in GTA V, but they never did.

I love the fact that NPCs attack each other in this game. Animals will attack humans, forcing them to fight for their survival, and I've even heard that animals will attack other animals. I've heard of wolves and coyotes attacking small animals like skunks.
