Never paid attention to the number of days between respawns, but it does do so regularly, as does the one in the burned down wreckage of the Braithwaite mansion.

For players entering the epilogue for the first time or second play through every treasure found by Arthur can be discovered a second time. I have not searched the train or the strange statues, but every other treasure such as pirate chests ect. including limpany gold can be found. I am headed for the eagle nest next to see if things re-spawned.

Before any missions in Chapter 2 you can collect 6 gold bars. Several gold nuggets. Several free guns including a Lancaster repeater, Semi auto shotgun, Schofield revolver, a free varmint rifle, this rifle can be picked up from any gunsmith. Pump action shotgun and a rare double barrelled shotgun. You can also open the stables, you just cant buy a grooming brush. You can get a decent wild horse, eg thoroughbred or standardbred and tame them. You can get an off hand holster from the trapper. And can find at least 3 treasure maps and solve them.. Yes.. All before your first chapter 2 mission

🧢. The brush is locked until Hosea opens the stable. Everything else u can do. Not even the white female Arabian spawns until the stable is opened. And I should know. I wasted one whole month looking for her when the game came out in 2018

The black horse you get in chapter 2, the one you are "supposed" to sell, is a 1 of a kind horse and you are not required to sell it. Hold onto it, as far as i know this is the only Shire in game with stats this good and once hes gone hes gone. Hes a good boy.

I love the volcanic pistol but if you're getting your first free gun in the game, I'd get the Springfield rifle so you have something to hunt large game with besides the bow.

The scout jacket was a new thing to me. Here's my tip: It's possible to get the Legend of the East Satchel while still camped at Horseshoe Overlook. Takes some time, but being able to carry more than 10 of nearly all items will be invaluable. Iguana can be found on an island in Lemoyne, just ride along the coast till you see a dock that points to an island in the west and that's what you're looking for. Other than that, the Cougar and Panther may be challenging as their spawns are rare until the epilogue. It'll be good to find them last so you have the skills from hunting the many other animals to keep you from getting mauled, but my best advice is to drop a save and reload as necessary. But with the satchel, you'll be able to hold 99 of most everything, great for stocking up on herbs and tonics.

This is one of the best tips! On my 2nd playthrough, I made that a priority after hunting with Hosea. It's amazing at how big a difference it is when you aren't limited on your carrying capacities. As a side benefit, your cores will level up insane amounts. Once you get the hang of it, lasso and tame a horse or two so you can carry multiple large pelts/carcasses. Also, improved arrow to the head will take out 98% of large animal (it'll one shot cougars and panthers too, without having to poison the meat via poison arrows)

The watch/time can be seen in the pause menu as well. The watch like figure on top is not just a picture, it tells you the accurate game time. Personally, checking the time via pause menus is the quickest instead of hitting multiple keys to take the watch out

3:00 i have noticed if you are searching saddlebags of a horse that doesnt belong to you (you killed the owner or are just stealing) if the horse starts shaking its head after you loot the first one (not stressed, not making noise, just shaking its head or pawing the ground very slightly agitated) then 9 times out of 10 you will get kicked opening the second bag even if you give the horse a pat. I have had 5 times where this has happened and every time i had to shoot the horse to get into the bag. I just leave it now. Head shake? ok keep that bag.

Nah the horse saddle bag thing is Bull, I have died so manyy times to "calm" horses it's insane. It's like a 50/50 whether or not you get the item or a hoof to the jaw

You’ll notice some horses are more calm than others when approaching. There’s a video saying you can tell by the position of their ears but I’m not so sure. I found even the most agressive ones can be looted if you feed, brush, and pat them as well as ride them for a bit and if you get off before you bond with them you can loot both sides a lot of the time. It’s just tedious and doesn’t always work

if you can , take the horse to the nearest tree and have it stand next to the tree, the horse is then unable to kick you and you can search the saddle bags safely

Get the Shark-tooth trinket (from Annesburg, nearby) makes horse bonding faster and after a pat and a carrot loot both sides of the horses saddle-bags.

If you want to wash blood or mud from Arthur but aren't near a bathhouse a swim in any body of water will remove blood or mud from him, but will give no stamina boost. I'd avoid swimming in the swamp though

I recently started the game again, and this time I noticed something that I've never seen anyone comment on or make a video about, but in Strauss' first mission, when you arrive at Valentine, and you have to collect the money from 3 debtors, after leaving the cash register, if you stay there for a while, you can see the bill approaching the cash register, look everywhere to see if anyone is there, and open the cash register and take out money, this happened to me during the night

Easiest way to keep clean is just switch to your other outfit instead of going to a bath house. When running from authorities, run as far as you can then duck and hide for a while in the bushes.

I've tried patting and calming horses to stop them from kicking me but haven't noticed a difference. One time i even tried sitting on it to calm and feed it, and suddenly i had bonding level 1 and bags were no longer lootable.... So don't think it's possible
