The Happy Baryonyx I kill and skin cattle for crafting semi often but I’m not sure if it’s needed for 100% is what I meant I know they’re skinnable... now that I think of it the fact that there’s outfits that require sheep and cow skins makes me think they are counted towards 100%

Good video, thanks for going in depth on your thoughts on the guarma animals and other unique ones and whether they are required. This is the main reason why I haven’t bothered going after this trophy just yet, since I didn’t get all the animals on guarma. But I’m a bit ocd like you so I will probably just do a second play through and make sure I get all animals then and fill my compendium completely

I think another confusing problem is you can have all the required birds & animals but for them to count towards ‘zoologist’ you gotta study them. It happened to me, I had all animals required but I missed 3 that I didn’t study.

Nice! I got a question about the "skin deep" thophy. I received the zoologist trophy but not the skin deep one, which means I certainly forgot to skin one animal after killing it (my compendium is full). Do you know a way to check which animal is yet to he skinned?

If you do this glitch, you can get the Fer-De-Lance snake to spawn on main map! You have to be in epilogue though, as it's in New Austin.

Hey if anybody is here to answer a question, do you need to have a 100% ON ALL of the Animal Compendium in order to get the trophy? Or does the stats for each Animal just need to have only SKIN: YES SCAN: YES Which would just be 75% , would that be Ok?

I wanna get the achievement where you gotta skin every animal but I didnt know guarma was a one time thing. I thought it was a place I could always come back to and I was already wrapped into the story so I ran with the story missions. Now I did study all 3 parrots but didnt get a chance to skin them. As far as I can tell this is the best video to use to complete your compendium. And you can find mules in different spots on the map not just in quests or missions. Don't get them confused with donkeys. Just Google where or look them up on KZbin, you can find one easy.

You do not need any Guarma animals or the elusive Carolina Parakeet for either Skin deep or Zoologist. I read people mention the Guarma animals but just got both achievements and never laid eyes on the Parakeet. Got both achievements 26 July 2020.
