Very good run, beat my previous WR by 17 minutes. There's a few hiccups in it that lost some time but overall very fast. Not sure if i will try to beat this, maybe if some1 else does first. :P i did this run with no commentary so I could focus more. Maybe I'll do a video where I commentate/explain the strats and stuff if there's enough interest in it

I’m fairly certain you can kill Kieran’s horse in chapter 1 to capture him without having to chase him as much. Could maybe be quicker, I’m pretty sure I remember doing that a couple years ago during a low honour play through.

Why did you abandon at the 8:32 mark? Also, I'm going to go for the WR Speedrun in one sitting, no breaks, no pausing off a timer for a bathroom break or anything. I did a 54 hour straight Livestream playing this game, so I'm curious if there's a WR for one sit through without pausing the timer. Anyone know?

I believe we restart checkpoint so we can pull out the knife, also it puts the hat on arthur so we don’t need to pick it up. As for pausing, we don’t allow that in this speedrun (any%). It was done in one sitting with no breaks. It is allowed to pause though in the 100% speedrun.

@@HessSR ok, I understand. So, the knife hat thing would be sorta an exploit then? I'm thinking about doing it without any of the exploits, doing it as the developers intended it to be played. I mean, you all need another category right, to get some interest back into the game? 😆

I’m curious why you set Arthur on fire sometimes. Does that help in any way or is it for giggles?

It saves a lot of time since Arthur’s dialogue gets skipped when he’s on fire so you don’t have to listen to it, and in some places the game will start a cutscene straight away if you skip all the dialogue.

When you're at the saloon with Lenny and running from the lawmen if you do nothing Arthur slams into the pole and gets knocked out instantly. Save you a few seconds

@@HessSR on my first ever play, I thought it was still just a cutscene. I didn't even realize you could run until my 2nd or 3rd play. I think my hands were off the controller, but it was a long time ago.
