Once we ve played the game, watching this trailer again lets you see the different references and symbolistic comparisons with the game. Reverands speech is excellent, sums up Dutchs characters arch and the setting as a whole. The shots of John being threatened outside the bar while Arthur is the only one contemplating what to do, while Dutch sits in the back. Excellent!

lionheart21 the original voice actor was said to have been at Rockstar studios during the making & i think he's been quoted as stating he'd only come back if Rockstar asked him. I think he's all in for his part. So Excited!!!

It's very "the assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford" From the train robbery to them talking about being hunted/chased over the mountains, etc. Though Dutch doesn't get killed so idk how they're going to resolve the ending. Maybe the character you play now (Morgan?) dies protecting Marston or plays like an Arbiter role where over time he loses his faith in Dutch and the gang.

You know I honestly thought that no video game could surpass Red Dead Redemption (numero uno) in terms of story and setting let alone a prequel coming even close to the benchmark of the source but this trailer has me optimistic.

"One body type" as in the character's or only one body type in NPC's (aka the Villagers)? Because there is a bit of a few body types in GTA V when you walk around the streets and possibly LA Noire? I think there is some chubby gentlemen but thats about it. I could be wrong. (Currently playing the game again I'm on Homicide)

Not meaning to be that guy Fraser. But I remember you being surprised by the variety of body types in GTA V Also I'm so ready for this, jesus I'm ecstatic about this game. Also I find Fraser's theory about Arthur Morgan interesting, that he's a good guy that became bad. Whereas John was the opposite, a bad guy that became good Rockstar is quite understated with their references so it's definitely in their style to drop John in there subtly, and I love them for that

It's interesting to see Fraser praise the graphics so much, considering how in-tune he usually is on that front. To me it looks quintessentially flat. When the standard for open world games are things like Horizon: Zero Dawn and hell even Witcher III, it just doesn't look like Rockstar has come very far since GTAV. The atmospheric lighting is nice, but that's ALWAYS been nice in Rockstar games. The character models, animations, and overall textures are hugely lacking in my opinion.

I agree, it’s not like the graphics are bad, I find this very passible. Never played first one, but with Rockstar, people are expecting greatness. I just hope people like Frash don’t get disappointed when it comes out because their expectations seem so high, analyzing these trailers for the smallest details.
