That's exactly it, in my opinion Ghost of Tsushima is the most beautiful game I've ever played, it is heavily stylized and has unrealistic contrast for example, RDR2 also looks incredible and has a lot more attention to detail, but it isn't as "cool" as Ghost. The gameplay in both is also like that, Ghost is a lot more "gamey" and doesn't pay as much attention to fine details, while when playing RDR2 you have to even pay attention to every rock on the floor so that you don't fall off your horse. Both fantastic experiences, although I personally prefer Ghost of Tsushima.

Have you played games like GTA, survival games, and Happy Farm, and have you watched movies? Games have a maker. They make sound and image files, movements, stages of the game, its system, laws, and its own scenario. Then the player comes and uses this, throws the seed, waters it, and sees the plant emerge on its own, but he knows that it has a maker who makes the images and movements. And the planting system and its laws, and the player used it, who discovered the method of planting and used it, as well as the recipes for food that he discovers and the devices that he makes. He continues to put things on things and discovers devices made by the game maker and its law, and the weapons and houses that he builds and the monsters that he finds, all made and prepared in advance, sound, image, movement, and law, and the player extracts those things. And the development of devices and weapons in the successive stages of the game, the emergence and advancement prepared by the game maker, the story of the game and its stages from the beginning until its conclusion, and the deficiency that befalls the player in his life bar, his energy, methods of treatment, and his food for energy. Likewise, movies find scenes successively emerging from each other, caused by previous scenes, as if no one had made them, but we know. They were filmed scene by scene, collected together, and arranged, and each scene emerged from the previous one and presented to us. Likewise, God made movies and games a sign for us for His creation of everything, preparing it in advance, and our use of it, and making it caused by reasons that He created every image, sound, and movement, and established laws and scenarios, and things appear to us for logical reasons, with laws. We discover it and use it, just like games and movies. There is a complete script written before filming, just as God wrote everything in the preserved tablet. Then they divide it into papers for each scene that they give to the actors. Likewise, fate descends from the preserved tablet every year on the Night of Destiny. And the cartoon films create a scene, a scene of movement, every image and sound. Then we see it as if it comes out of itself without a maker. What makes you disbelieve in God? Is it because you do not find a direct link between Him and the universe? Does the game maker or the movie director come to you with the game and the movie and make it in front of you and play it for you in front of you and they remain standing in front of you while you play it? Rather, you are in the universe as a character inside the game who has never seen its maker or how he made it and you wander around and discover and use things. God created everything from the big bang, which is like a beginning. The game and the movie until the end day, which is like the end of the movie and the conclusion of the stages of the game, their collection, their ranks, and their appreciation, and all the scenarios of movies and games, their tools, ideas, devices, events, and values, good, evil, and fighting. All of that is taken from the universe that God created, so making games and movies is proof to people that the universe has been made by god everything in it. Image, sound, pixels, movement, tools, laws, story, beginning and end. Or do you want God to appear to you and make everything for you with His hand in front of you? Game and movie makers do not do that. They make things for you and make you the one who does them, discovers them, makes them with your own hand, and finds logical reasons for them that come out automatically, and you know that all of that is programmed. And every weight of an atom in it is made like the pixel in games Rather, you are like a character in a game, walking, discovering, planting,Night and day alternate as in reality and rain falls , creating, and finding laws, order, and things that come out automatically, caused by law, and you encounter things, and your equipment develops, and you come across stories and people, and the matter has a beginning and an end, and all of that is made. Didn’t the makers of games and movies imitate them from the universe? Isn’t everything imitated that is made that indicates that the original thing is also made? Can you find a Chinese phone made that imitates the iPhone without the iPhone also being made like it, but with better as well? Glory be to my Lord, who created the universe, perfected it, and perfected it with the greatness of what is in it, the length of its duration, and the large number of things in it, things, events, people, characters, materials, and programmed it into a great work. that game and movie makers are trying to imitate. And they will not be able to make what he do a sign for them that the universe in which it exists has a great Creator who created it

I wouldn’t say it’s unfair, but I would say a lot of people that make red dead comparisons are RDR2 stans. In terms of detail RDR2 is superior to most every other games, but in terms of gameplay and story I think RDR2 is a little bit too overrated. Is the story in RDR2 bad? Not at all, it’s one of the best stories I’ve had the pleasure of playing through. But I wouldn’t say it’s the greatest of all time. The point I’m trying to make is that RDR2 as legendary as it is gets overpraised by its fan base in my opinion. A fair comparison between the two games is that RDR2 prioritizes immersion and realism while Ghost of Tsushima prioritizes gameplay. Story is more subjective which a lot of people sadly seem to forget. In my opinion both games have amazing stories and characters so really I think it just comes down to personal preference.

@SpringySpring0412 күн бұрын
I think it's quite fascinating to see the differences between these two games from a more story/setting-focused perspective. Ghost of Tsushima takes place during the Mongol invasion of Japan in the 13th century while Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place at the turn of the century right around 1900, when the age of outlaw cowboys and the "Wild West" was beginning to come to an end. (I haven't finished RDR2 yet. I still only have about 13 hours in the game.) It's amazing to see that there is a kind of similarity in the portrayal of ways of life even separated by almost 600 years (i.e., living in a small camp, fighting off bandits, etc.). The changes in technology is also quite interesting as RDR2 is also in the time period where trains and other more modern technologies were in great use. I love seeing that historical depiction in these types of games, it's always very eye-opening to see

Ghost of Tsushima went for a lot more of a stylised look as they were more focused on the combat more than the world environment whereas rdr2 went for as close to realism as they could putting all their effort into the environment not just the combat creating a very realistic game. Both games are very pretty in their own sense but they were both focused on different things and a different target audience. But in my opinion red dead redemption 2 wins with a landslide. Not saying Ghost of Tsushima is a bad looking game but as I said before they weren't as focused on realism as rdr2.

In contrast, Red Dead Redemption 2 started with over 1,000 team members and grew to more than 1,600. The development timeline for RDR2 spanned 8 years, while Ghost of Tsushima was completed in just 6 years. Although Ghost of Tsushima excels in various aspects, I find myself preferring Red Dead Redemption 2 by a slight margin. Nevertheless, both games are highly enjoyable, and I am truly impressed by how Sony managed to create such an exceptional experience with a relatively small team. Fire Spread= RDR2 (GoT has no burnt grass. There might be in a mission with burning background) Face Character= RDR2 (Some people have smooth faces. But RDR2 still takes the W) Water Effects= RDR2 (Atleast GoT put some water effects) Swimming= RDR2 ( ^ ) Ice Sliding= RDR2 (RDR2 with it's realistic struggling) Bee Hive= RDR2 (Either Jin has no sense of pain or just none) Rain= Both Character Reaction to the cold= RDR2 (Jin built different) Archery= Both (Jin is more experienced, while Arthur is more familiar with guns) Animals= RDR2 (RDR2 has brutal and realistic animal attacks) World= Both (Each to its world perspective. Both games look fantastic. RDR2 was made with the mindset of making every single possible detail in mind. While Ghost of Tsushima was made with mindset of making a beautiful Samuria game. As for the massive gap in details, we also have to look at the size of both games. On the PS4, Ghost of Tsushima is close to 45GB while RDR2 is around 100GB and the size speaks for itself.
@Flypidge Жыл бұрын
Read dead 2 is still the greatest looking game ever made. Not just graphically but the minor details are incredible, the way the gun slips on the shoulder, the way you hold a rifle to the side, the fair and beard growth, the fact you have random encounters where you don't have to do anything to cause an outcome, the horse hair and muscle detail I could go on all day about small things that make a huge difference in read dead, it's a masterful feat of design and art.

If only you mentioned how in RDR2 horses do not spawn out of thin air, you need to actually be at the horse's calling range and if they die, they die and you need to get a new horse and create a new bond with them.

GoT's world feels like a movie, carefully crafted to look absolutely amazing all the time. RDR has the more realistic look going for it which I find much more appealing, there are imperfections everywhere that just help it to feel like a lived in place. The details of realism in RDR2 is seriously next level, no doubt about it. But when you talk about the excitement of combat (sword fight & stealth) and levelling up character, Ghost of Tsushima is where it's at. Ghost of Tsushima also brings in that Japanese arcade vibe, kinda reminds you of Metal Gear Solid, and it's not going for that hyper-realism like RDR2.
@TrumpIsTheRootOfAllEvil Жыл бұрын
I pre-ordered Ghost of Tsushima and got the platinum trophy. I bought RDR2 about 2 years ago and I'm just now getting around to playing it. I tried to play RDR2 when I first got it, but I only got to the part where you first get to Valentine and put it down. It feels so slow, so clunky. It's not fun to play. GoT just felt so much more fun and was, to me, the more fun (and probably better) game. That said, RDR2 is a looker. I don't think anything matches up to it visually. The small details of literally everything. From the light, to the slow hair growth, individual blades of grass in a field, RDR2 is just amazing. To this day, I don't think anything can compare.
