I really think that a bomb style dart like this or at least a longer tapered barrel is a better dart for the masses. With the dart board spiders as thin as they have become, the trebles today are not the same size John Lowe and Eric Bristow once had to deal with. The trend to want 6.3 to 6.7 mm wide barrels is waning. I believe that longer length points is a bigger factor than the width of the barrels for better grouping. When you combine the 2 factors of longer points with thinner spider wires it won’t matter what width barrel you use! Cheers from New York

Just ordered a set in 23g. Can't wait for them to arrive and give them a throw! These are usually my style of barrell and the design of these look fantastic. Much more interesting than any boring plain silver tungsten dart that I have ever previously owned (and always turn an even more boring dull grey after a while)!

Of all the models that I got to know through this channel and tested myself (and there were quite a few), I like this one the best by far. Fantastic balance. Perfect barrel length for me.

Love the colour. I see Target Darts have released the ALX dart in purple and they have the Swiss points so looking forward to watching review if you havent uploaded one already 😂

Nice review. You mentioned trying a cheaper dart first. I think the Designa Dark Shadow V2 might be a good choice for that. It is microgrip in the rear but would be pretty similar for someone gripping on the rear section of this dart.

Darren; really nice review. The darts do look very good, but at least for me that length is really short (I prefer darts about 50mm or so in length). Almost like a Phil Taylor dart.

I’m not gonna bother with these or the tapered I will get the element set tho , already got the proper world champion set , I got rob cross gen 2 to add to my collection yesterday aswell lovely darts and them Swiss points are fire 👌🏽also spent £53 on all wright and prices new flights with some new stems , the new flights are beautiful , got the gerwyn price shirt aswell 😃

it can be used for front grippers but lots are similar shape, try Legend Lisa Ashton, Unicorn T80 Core XL, Pentathlon TDP T1, Performance Darts Triumph to name a few
